This was my very first concert and I'm glad it was Johnny Reid, awesome singer, awesome voice, very lively and down to earth to take pictures with the fans while on stage. Awesome band and the lighting was very beautiful.

Johnny Reid - I love his songs, the music behind each one, he is so down to earth with everyone. Excellent performance always. He treats everyone as family and I love his stories. Haven't had the honor, but someday I'll meet that man in person or have the opportunity to shake his hand.

  • Beyond Belief

Just got in from going to see Johnny Reid in concert here at the Saddledome in Calgary. What an amazing and unbelievably humble man he is!! I knew he was a good singer, but what I didn't realize until tonight was how his love for music pales in comparison to his love and compassion for people. I have been to several concerts in my life, but I have never seen an entertainer interact with the audience as much as he did. He is not afraid to share the spot light, highlighting several members of his band. He even told us how he and the band visited a children's hospital earlier today to bring hope and encouragement to the kids as well as leaving a check for $45k. Canada is very blessed to have him.

  • Dissappointed the Crowd sing his Songs

    by XXL007 on 7/16/12Scotiabank Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

We very much enjoy listening to Johnny Reid however, we paid money to see and hear our favorite Johnny Reid songs sung by Johnny and not the crowd. This is the second time we've attended a Johnny Reid concert and had this happen. Mr. Reid no one cares that the crowd can sing your songs; we want to hear you sing them. Unfortunately, this will most likely be the last time we'll attend one of his concerts, instead we'll buy his CD's; that way we are guaranteed to hear him sing. Johnny made a big mistake allowing Theo Fleury to come on stage to perform two thirds of the way through Johnny Reid’s set. Theo gave an amateur performance at best. We needed someone to push an X button to end the train wreck. It zapped the energy from the crowd and it took Johnny two to three songs to get the crowd back on track.

This was my first time seeing Johnny Reid being I live in the U.S. and he stays strictly in Canada. I took my mother being I gave her the tickets for a Christmas present. We both enjoyed the show alot!! He never stood still, ran thru the crowd, interacted with people, made the evening go by way too quick. I would definitely recommend seeing him in concert. Can't wait to see him again.

This was my first time going to one of Johnny Reid's concerts and I'm quite certain it won't be the last. His energy and compassion was outstanding. His interactions with the crowd young and old, touched many at the show! He talked about how he stopped at the hospital to meet with some of the sick children, referring to them as his new friends, brought tears to many especially as his emotions became evident! Just an outstanding, wonderful person and entertainer!

Awesom performance. Heard others say he stepped things up this time. It was an amazing show and brought shivers all through it. It was amazing that he performed so hard for so long. He is so humble and thankful and makes everyone feel good. A challenged friend of ours got to "Meet & Greet" and Johnny was so great with him.

It's one of the most entertaining show we've seen in a long time. Johnny has to be one of the most energetic singers we've seen in a long time. He looks like he's really enjoying himself and he really connects with the audience. I'd go see him again in a heartbeat. A great show and we we're in the cheap seats.

  • Johnny Reid - YEE HA!!!!

by Mimsy on 4/16/12Pacific Coliseum - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Great entertainer - great fun - great voice - great red pants that he had the nerve to wear with white shoes (must talk with his wife about them they seem to be his signature footwear) and a white jacket - loved to watch him boogie around the stage - I love the way he includes his audience in the show - taking little girls onto the stage - elderly ladies birthdays and singing to them - seems he is a really nice down to earth guy - SINGS GREAT SONGS WELL !!!

  • Johnny Reid was incredible ~ won't ever forget it.

by Dreamdancing on 4/15/12Interior Savings Centre - KamloopsRating: 5 out of 5

Johnny Reid rocked the Interior Savings Centre. Fantastic entertainer and I would go back again to see him. This show topped his last one by a long stretch. My only regrets with the show was that his incredible orchestra drowned him out sometimes and I forgot my sharpie pen at home so couldn't get him to autograph my memorabilia. Also missed his bag pipers during his final song.
