With his ever-youthful voice, it’s hard to believe that legendary singer Johnny Mathis has been wowing audiences for over half a century—and he’s still going strong. That unmistakable voice—both fragile and powerful—singing timeless classics like “Chances Are,” “Misty,” “Brazil,” “It’s Not For Me to Say” “A Certain Smile” “My Funny Valentine” and “Twelfth of Never” never ceases to mesmerize listeners into a wistful trance. Anyone who has been lucky enough to get tickets to witness Johnny Mathis perform LIVE knows that he was born to be on stage with a microphone in hand, an orchestra at his back, and a rapt crowd before him. Be it a love ballad, swing tune, or a Latin-flavored number, Johnny executes each phrase with that characteristic panache possessed by crooners of a by-gone era when singers didn’t have (nor need!) the help of viral YouTube videos to capture the hearts of fans worldwide. Needless to say, serious fans of nostalgic music (also sung by the likes of Michael Bublé, Harry Connick Jr. and Tony Bennett) who score Johnny Mathis tickets are always in for a “Wonderful! Wonderful!” time.

Johnny put on a fantastic show singing many of his greatest songs! His unmistakable voice is strong and smooth and kudos to him for continuing to please his fans over the past 70 years!
Johnny was great. I loved the show's arrangement, with Brad Upton performing in the middle at intermission. The band was great. It is an older theatre, so the wood seats and lack of knee spacing were problematic. However, the Theatre personnel were great.
At his age, Johnny Mathis' vocal power and flexibility was amazing. There were a couple of times when he forgot a lyric or needed his bandleader's cue to catch up to the arrangement (both very fleeting), but in general his memory for lyrics and his fluidity in dealing with fairly complex and modulating arrangements was very impressive, along with his lovely stage personality (he didn't have a lot to say, but his humility and connection with the audience came across). The theatre was not so great for people of the Mathis-appreciating generation, which was almost all of us. The balcony required something like 4 flights of stairs; there was 1 elevator that could handle maximum 8 people at a time, and which had to sometimes go back and forth because an outer door wouldn't open. And the only bathrooms were on the entrance level. Plus there is almost no parking near the theater -- they recommend parking behind City Hall, which is something like a 5-block walk -- no big deal, but can be an issue for seniors. The staff of the theatre, however, did their best to be friendly and helpful.
Great show and entertainer! Staff and ushers at the venue were top notch! Thank you for making my first trip memorable, free parking was also a plus.
What a wonderful show this. He is so professional and charismatic. His voice is still amazing. Wonderful songs that brings back great memories. His voice is still fantastic. He has one of the best orchestra! All was amazing.
Johnny always puts on a great show. It was my aunts 96th show. Fabulous time we had!
He was fabulous, sounded just as good as always. He gave a great performance and the orchestra was also great. He is a humble man❤️. The comedian was also wonderful.
The show was absolutely amazing! Johnny Mathias never disappoints. Truly enjoyed the nostalgic songs, the new ones, and the classics! My husband and I don’t miss his concerts. We always enjoy the Bergen Performing Center.
Most singers have lost their voice by age 88 years old, but Johnny Mathis has lost very little and that’s a blessing to those who went to the concert . Just wished he had sang “ Maria “ but maybe another time.
It was such a pleasure listening to the legendary Johnny Mathis! He still have the voice that I hear on radio for years and to see him perform live is a dream come true. God Bless Johnny Mathis!!
Excellent!!!!! Lots and lots of energy! Vocals extremely good! His timing awesome! Eye contact with public incredible! Loved it!!!
Too good to turn down seats appeared that morning. Worth a few hour drive. Johnny Mathis showed time can stand still. His voice is one you don't forget and the orchestra (Actual Orchestra!) terrific. Plus a surprise appearance by Brad Upton. Perfect.
Wonderful time! Great entertainment all the way - It was an tremendously enjoyable evening!!! Johnny still got it!
Played about 25 minutes, took a break after announcing a comedian would entertain us, comedian stayed out there longer than Johnny did and when he was done it was announced there would be a 20-minute recess. Then after about 30 minutes Johnny came back out and played another 25 to 30 minutes. Not an ideal show but keep in mind the man is 88 years old. And he did all the songs I wanted to hear but still could have performed longer and without a break.
I saw Johnny Mathis to celebrate my boyfriend’s 29+ birthday….outstanding performance….a great treat
Thank you so much for still performing. I have seen you 6 times since 1965. Your voice is still as powerful as ever. Hope to see you again I actually took me 50 yr old daughter Her first time and very impressed. Thank you again ♥️
Jhonny Mathis amazing! The teather beautiful, the staff excellent, the Cafe with good and varied offers. But the valet service was not good. More personal should be employed, there were lots of people and 3 persons couldn't make the process faster. It's not their fault. We waited for our car 40 minutes, and it was freezing.
Johnny Matthis was Fabulous ! His Performance OUTSTANDING.
Johnny Mathis is amazing, time and time again. His voice is still great at 88. Saw him 2 years ago and I would still go see him again in the future if the opportunity presents. My favorite singer.
