  • Laugh out loud hilarious!

by Gary B. on 11/26/25Paramount Theatre Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Let's face it. John is a comic genius with a keen wit and impeccable timing. He knows how to speak to the ridiculousness of some of the most basic things in our lives and make us laugh. He can also hit more serious topics facing us all in a way that is approachable and makes you think. Can't recommend this show highly enough. The guest comics were awesome too!

  • Great expectations

by Al on 11/26/25Paramount Theatre Oakland - OaklandRating: 3 out of 5

Went for the show with great expectations , 50 min earlier. The staff at the gate brilliant. Once seated the demeanor of the staff inside was unpleasant. When the venue hall is nearly empty and you take your phone out ,4 people from every corner approach you to tell you’ll be “ kicked out” if you record anything. You Tell them that is not the intention but then they stare you down till the show starts, esp the woman with white hair. They did this to everyone who even tried to take their own photos. The crowd was great! Mulaney was very good aside some cheap jokes about about Jesus/ Muhammad. Netflix honestly does a great job.

  • Really captures the zeitgeist of this wacky world

by Katems on 11/25/25The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Saw him twice while he was in SF. Still giggling. Lots of belly laughs. Won't look at my dryer the same way ever again.

  • JOHN WAS ON FIRE!!

by Gail S on 11/24/25The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

John was so funny!! It was hard (for me) to understand the first guy; the second opener was funny. The venue was good. The “California Lounge VIP experience” was a waste of money. $30 per PERSON to get little bags of chips or cookies. You could BUY other food (we did not) and every drink (even sparkling water) cost money. The room was nice. but we didn’t stay. Grabbed a few bags and left. I don’t remember reading anything about what to do if people had mobility issues. LOTS of stairs. And the balcony needs hand rails. Stairs are narrow and steep. HAND RAILS PLEASE!! John. We love you!!!

  • Mulaney ~ You Funny!!

by KKF on 11/23/25The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely hysterical! Love the way he tells stories. Masonic Auditorium is a small venue so find it perfect for seating and sound.

  • Incredible show!

by Lammy on 11/23/25The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

John Mulaney was unbelievable! He is by far the most talented comedian out there. He performed for two straight hours without a pause and kept the audience laughing the entire time. I was amazed at how he could keep all that material in his head and deliver so many hysterical sentences in rapid succession! I was exhausted for him in the end. Haha. Two things about the venue. First, the good news. We were in the cheap seats — balcony 1 — and were surprised at how close we were to the stage! Yes, we saw more of his side than his front, but he often walked to the side and looked up toward our seats. That was cool of him. Now the bad news. The show was supposed to start at 7:30, but there were something like 40-50 open seats in the orchestra at that time. People trickled in until about 7:50, and then the Masonic started the show. We had gotten there at 7 and besides feeling annoyed at the people who so rudely and selfishly showed up late, we were very disappointed that the Masonic didn’t enforce the start time and make people suffer the consequences of finding their seats in the dark! Part of the problem was that the concession stands stayed open beyond 7:30 so people were wandering in with drinks and snacks at 7:45 like there was no sense of urgency. Extremely frustrating!

  • The Funniest He's Been

by Shannon C on 11/21/25Petersen Events Center - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time seeing John live, but I am a huge fan and watched all his specials and shows. He was just as funny, if not funnier, as ever.

  • Never disappoints

by TKMI on 10/29/25Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Given that we've watched his comedy specials more than a few times, we were thrilled to see him come to the Fox. It's such a beautiful house and great place for a concert or comedy event. And with our advanced parking, we had no problem getting to or from the venue.

  • Meh

by Rich on 10/28/25Petersen Events Center - PittsburghRating: 1 out of 5

I’ve been a huge John Mulaney fan since about about 2014- I love the specials and YouTube clips. He’s still an incredible performer but I laughed out loud twice and cracked a smile three times. Entertaining but not very funny, just meh. The price was fine for meh though.
