John Fogerty can still rocked it! Loved the show. Great videos with some of the songs. Disappointed in ZZ Top. Their voices were just not there. But they can still crank it out on the guitar. Great venue to watch an outdoor concert, will definitely be back.
John Fogerty just gets better! The guy never ages and he rocks the stage ever time he steps out on it! Great concert, even though it was 97 degrees!
The Treasure Island amphitheater venue was certainly an improvement over prior years, so kudos to them. The security lines were certainly a bottleneck though. John Fogerty was high energy and played hit after hit. The band was very entertaining as well which included 2 of his sons. Awesome drummer! ZZ Top was pretty much the opposite, low energy and nothing much to cheer about. In fact, I found myself catching some zz's during the performance. Not a good sign.
Maybe it was the heat,maybe getting older or a combination of the two. Bottom line ZZ was hard to listen to. The end.
ZZ Top merely ok. The casino itself wasn't that good. Very tiny non-smoking section. The rest of the place stunk very bad with cigarettes smell. There were no directories in the casino anywhere at all to see the lay of the land. Fogerty opened this night and did a 90 minute set. Still good as ever! ZZ Top closed the show and only did 70 minutes or so. Their drummer didn't look up from his drum kit the whole night.
The venue should have an awning for the people who paid for seats. I know that is expense but still. Beer tent over by 406 seats was good -- food lines were too long and that wait was too long at food areas. For 1st time for a show - not bad -- I am sure you will get better in time. Was not the worst experience or the best for a venue. :-)
The lead off singer was alright. I didn't realize that there were 3 bands. John Fogerty really rocked the house and had his sons with him on stage. Wish he would have played longer. ZZ Top was ZZ Top. Their sound hasn't changed one bit and they were GREAT! Loved the concert, the venue, the food and the high security. This venue really knows how to hold a concert.
John Fogerty was great! Better than I anticipated. ZZ Top was great - but would have liked to hear the classics earlier in the performance. It started about 30 minutes late.
Great performers, lousy venue. Could have been awesome, was just so-so.
Treasure Island needs to "step it up" and improve customer service. There was a sea of people standing in line to get through the concert security. There was hundreds of people waiting to get through yet there was only 8 lines. We stood in line for an entire hour before we got through. It was extremely frustrating especially since it was in the 90's. That really sucked. The concert itself was great, but I don't think it was worth the hassle factor on top of the steep ticket prices. Better to buy the CD.

John Fogerty played an awesome set including CCR and his own. ZZ Top was good with tons of hits to get through. When Fogerty and Billy Gibbons played one together was great. Two guitar masters.
We arrived 15 minutes before the show was to start and had to wait in line for an hour to get through security. I was not impressed that they didn't have a better way of dealing with that amount of people. We missed most of Jon Fogarty's set. The sound was not the best and could have been much better. But the energy of the bands were amazing. I would go back in hopes that they could fix crowd control and make adjustments to the sound.
Unexpectedly impressed with John Fogarty (except guy in red jump suit doing goofy eye stuff while singing Little Richard song - so weird - was like a bad late night TV skit). Otherwise Fogarty was impressive. ZZ Top was a bust. Of all the times I’ve seen them, this was unquestionably the worst. They played way to S L O W. Was so disappointing. Along with so many other people, had had enough bad music and left after 5th song. Lots of people left ZZ very early Super impressed with TI venue but going to non paper tickets is a huge huge mistake
The seats were crammed so close to the next person, you could barely stand up. John Fogerty was amazing, but we left during ZZ Top. They were not on point.
The Fogerty concert was great, he puts on an awesome show and it was so cool to see his sons tour with him. I did not like how long and confusing the lines were to get into the concert, otherwise it would have been five stars. The venue needs to do a better job with that.
In LOVE with John Fogarty all over again. He is so so talented and quite the entertainer glad to see his kid's are following in his foot steps!
Though not a fan of John Fogerty, he and his band put on a great show and are very talented musicians. ZZ Top were as good as ever, although I couldn’t see the stage due to one very inconsiderate man who was standing three rows in front of me recording the show.
Left it all on stage! Couldn't be happier, transported me back 20 years and made it look easy!
couldn't go because of the heat and my husband's medical condition...very disappointed
