John Caparulo's Mad Cap Comedy Tickets

We try to see 2 or 3 comedy shows when we visit Vegas. On our recent trip, in addition to John Caparulo, we saw Daniel Tosh (at the Mirage, a hilarious, professional show) and were going to see Nick Thune but Thune cancelled his appearance at Kimmel's club. Caparulo's show is in a small venue and Caesars offers heavily discounted tickets. For the Wednesday show, the theatre was perhaps 1/4 full and 5 to 10 people left early. It felt poorly paced and that he was rambling. At times, it felt he was winging it and had not prepared a real set. My impression was that he was struggling to remember what he was supposed to say next. Most of the laughs came from the same few people and he would throw out a few extra expletives here and there when things landed flat to try to evoke a laugh or two. It started late and was less than an hour. I have a hard time believing the star rating given to this show on this site and the fact that tickets are so heavily discounted and there were so many empty seats. I give it 2 stars for the 5 minutes of decent material.

My friends and I wanted a casual, fun night out on The Strip. We decided to go to a comedy show, but since we're not big drinkers we didn't want to go to a comedy club that makes you buy multiple drinks. My friend remembered John from a Showtime show and was very excited to see that he has a residency at Harrah's. I can't begin to describe what a fun night we had watching him. He was absolutely hysterical for well over an hour. I can't wait to bring my family when they come visit. He also takes free photos after the show for everyone. He was so humble and kind. I hope this man knows how much he is genuinely loved by so many people.

We purchased the VIP tickets, received front row. Honestly, was not needed, very small and intimate venue. Cappy was hilarious. Great interaction with the crowd. Even a meet and greet after the show. Worth every penny. Next time in Vegas, will go again.

This was a great show in a nice small size venue. John was hilarious as always and put on a very entertaining show. He posed for pictures after the show!!

Awesome small venue made this a wonderful night. The mad cap is my favorite comedian and getting to meet and talk to him after was amazing.

Have seen John before and he always puts on a really fun show! Will see him again next trip to Vegas.

John isn't one of the biggest names out there but there is a reason why he has his own show, featured on several comedy shows and talk shows and has several specials out. His sense of humor and personal stories make his show great. He keeps a lot of his old jokes that made him famous themes going but finds new and hilarious ways to give them new life. Family, marriage, parenting and daily life are all brought to the forefront in his hilarious stand up. The person I attended with had never seen his stand up and were delightfully pleased by his comic genius. Meeting him after the show gives his performance an even bigger heartfelt enjoyment. This is one show i think many should see- especially with how reasonably priced his tickets are.

John Caparulo is the funniest guy ever. I wish everyone could know about him. They would agree. I hope his Las Vegas show is a huge success!

We laughed from beginning to end. John was great.

Overall the show was just ok, some parts were great, but it seemed like it was hard for him to get into a rhythm. We thought maybe he was testing new materials? The flow just seemed off.

It was more intimate than I expected. Smaller venue than I thought but so glad we went. As a VIP we had reserved seating in the first or second row.

Show was funny. I can't take anything away from John's performance, but Harrahs changed the venue. The new venue is General Admission only, but they are still selling booth seating online (I checked the next day). We purchased booth seats at a higher price, but then were given wooden, foldable seats like you would see at an outdoor weddding or a banquet hall.. There is no table service as there are no tables. They have a limited portable bar set up in the back. So serve yourself and sit shoulder to shoulder with strangers. We were not impressed. We used to hit the Improv every visit to Vegas. Can't say we will be back after getting hosed on this one. The show was funny, but the venue sucked.

I love Cap and he didn't disappoint. The huge disappointment was Ticketmaster. The venue they showed was inaccurate. I paid for upgraded assigned seats. We paid before our trip because we didn't want the show to sell out. When we arrived, it was general seating and we ended up sitting in the back. It cost extra money for the upgrade which was just money in their pocket. Would have arrived earlier if we had known we had to for better seats. Was a big bummer and took away from our excitement over the show.

Loved it! Caparulo is always GREAT!!! I'd see him again and again!

This was a show we wanted to see for a long time. A true professional, John Caparulo wowed us with clever new insight into his wife & daughter keeping the jokes coming with his special brand of sekf-directed caustic wit. Very little old material in this night's show. Maybe 2 brief jokes, otherwise all new. Seats were great, sound was super... he should be selling this show out on a regular basis. If you have an opportunity to go to Vegas, don't miss it! By the way, he also came out and took pictures with us and was genuinely happy to meet fans.

We had a great time with a wonderful comedian. John Caparulo never disappoints! He took time to meet and great everyone after the show. Do yourself a favor and see Cap in person!

I got tickets to see John Caporulo for my husband and I to see last night in Vegas. Comedian was funny. Enjoyed the show. Had booth seating but because showroom wasn’t sold out got upgraded to second row from stage. Great seats

We were surprised at how much we enjoyed Mark Ellis. He was first up with John Caparulo, but honestly could have been the headliner! Not to take anything away from CAP! We traveled from Irving, TX to Las Vegas on my 60th BD to enjoy the fun of Vegas. When asked what I wanted to do that evening, I said "Go to see CAP!!!". The bonus??? Getting to also meet Mrs. CAP! One weekend earlier in the year we had bad weather and were shut-ins. We watched Caplets for 2 days straight! Yes, we lead an exciting life! But for sure you should go see CAP when in Vegas! And we will definitely see Mark Ellis again!

The venue was better than anticipated. Very clean. Was upgraded upon arrival. Reasonably priced drinks. I liked the opening act, Mark Ellis. John Caparulo started a little slow but he quickly hit his stride and was absolutely hilarious. Good value for the price of the tickets.
