  • Joe Was Amazing!

by KLART on 2/14/11Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 4 out of 5

Hi Ticketmaster, I took my husband for his Birthday (and a Valentine's Day gift for us both!) to see 'Joe with Special Guest Jon B' at the Riverside Arts Center. My husband really enjoys both performers as artists, but we had never seen either of them live. we were both SO SURPRISED at how POWERFUL a performer Joe is! He far exceeds his recordings, and the women went WILD! Joe is an AMAZING, first-class artist. My only complaint was with the sound quality of the venue. Both performers have wonderful voices, and the venue itself was very beautiful, but the poor sound quality (for Jon B especially) made it a very "noisy" experience. Their talents shone through, however, and I would recommend them.

I have been waiting to see Jon B for years! My husband and i went for Valentine weekend and it was great. He sang all his songs and He really moved and sang real good. Joe was good too, he looked real good, but i think his mic was too close, heard a lot of feedback. I told my husband, "sorry babe, but that white boy has rhythm and he gives me goosebumps. Lol I loved this concert it made my weekend fo sho!

  • Excellence

by lollipopluv on 2/14/11Fox Performing Arts Center - RIVERSIDERating: 5 out of 5

Jon B opened the show with a small band. He is an incredible performer, and a great singer/songwriter. His set was just long enough to warm up the crowd but not so long to bore us. When Joe came out, of course everyone was ecstatic. His voice was clear and audible. There were occasions where the vocals became unbalanced, and the background vocals were drowned, but overall, I enjoyed his charisma and charm. His songs are targeted toward the mature audience, with a flare of romance. His voice is always very smooth. I love JOE! The theater is an old building with charming qualities that bring a nice old time flare to any performance. All the seating in the venue had a good view of the stage. Downtown Riverside had many nice restaurants to visit prior or after the event.

The sound in the theatre was excellent. Jon B and Joe both can still sing very well.

  • Joe and Dru Hill

    by Nickib52 on 10/22/10Lyric Opera House - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

I enjoyed the entire show although I wish Dru Hill would have sang more of their own songs and Sisqo should have sang some of his hits as well. The sound in the Lyric is horrible but I still enjoyed the show because I absolutely LOVE Joe. My only regret is not having closer seats.

  • FLASH BACK OF WHEN SINGERS ACTUALLY DID SING

by SCOODIE on 9/17/10Lyric Opera House - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

I LOVED THE SHOW. IT WAS ALL THAT I EXPECTED AND MORE. I REALLY APPRECIATED THE SINGERS. THE FACT THAT ALL OF THE PERFORMERS COULD REALLY SING WAS AWESOME.

  • JOE is the man!!

    by Cynni007 on 9/16/10Lyric Opera House - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

I loved Joe's performance. However, I thought that he was going to perform more songs. JOE's voice is music to my ears and I could listen to him sing all night. Please bring him back to Baltimore. Also, can he take pictures with the fans next time?

  • Joe was wonderful

    by tyl02 on 9/16/10Lyric Opera House - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

I missed the beginning of the show but Joe made up for it. He looked very dapper and sexy. I loved my seats i was up close & personal (row F seats 107-108), but i think being that close some of the sound was off. And i wish Joe could've sung to me longer. But other than that i had a fabulous time. "I love me some him"

  • Joe and Dru Hill

by divinelylibra on 9/14/10Lyric Opera House - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was great! I just wish that Dru Hill sang more of their hits because I love their music so much. Joe is so smooth and he looked so handsome in his suit. It was nice to see a young man dressed so well.

  • What a Night!!!

by MsLadee on 9/14/10Lyric Opera House - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

Dru Hill ----GARBAGE.....they were like a new band just getting started. The music was too loud and you could barely here what they were saying. They were not dressed as if they were performers. They just had on whatever they wanted to wear. And they were all over the place. Very bad stage performance. STEP IT UP GUYS. JOE-----AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME. He had the crowd from beginning to end. Never a dull moment. Everything about him was on point with excellent stage performance. It wasn't too much, just a little dancing but he didn't over do it by trying to do some over the top stuff. I feel like a performer should make you want to pull out their old cd's or go out and buy the new ones, and that is what Joe made me feel like. I would definitely go and see him again.

  • Joe was sexy and sultry!!!

    by TheTruth36 on 9/13/10Lyric Opera House - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

Dru Hill was horrible and all the drama that plays out on their show was visible in their performance. Joe was awesone. I wish his session was longer but I plan on seeing another show in the future. Joe made the evening worth it. Loved seeing him perform.

  • Joe show was "HOT" ehh Dru Hill not so much

    by et35 on 9/13/10Lyric Opera House - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

I love Joe on stage, on the radio wherever he is he is just "AWESOME". The show over the weekend was great Dru Hill did their thing but was on stage way too long. I appreciate them trying to make the comeback but I came to see the headliner "Joe" and was slightly disappointed that Dru Hill seemed to be on stage longer and when Joe came on stage he was having difficulties with the mics which clearly bothered him. His voice flawless, stage presence was impecable but his time on stage was too short and someone of his caliber should not ever have squeeky mics...that speaks poorly about the venue. I've waited for months to actually see and hear him on stage and I feel slightly cheated. However whenever he comes back to the area I would definitely spend the money but with his talent I would rather see him in a more intimate setting. Dru Hill took away the classy feel I was expecting...way over the top...

  • Nice Place!

The concert was great! We had great seats, actually where ever you sat, you could see!! Would go there again!

  • Joe and Dru Hill in B-more

    by PAULBOND0077 on 9/13/10Lyric Opera House - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

The Lyric Opera house is a nice place to watch a show for medium sized acts. I thought it was the right size for these groups. I was disappointed that both acts skipped signature, sing along songs that I was looking forward to hearing. Dru Hill didn't do Cisco's "Thong Song"? And Joe sang one line of 2 or 3 of his most popular songs at the end of his show like he was running out of time? Ouch...

  • by thill1201 on 9/13/10Lyric Opera House - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

Joe was wonderful!!! He was truly great. He was so smooth and sounded just like his CD's. I solely went to this show for Joe and he did not disappoint. No other words are needed for joe. If you are a Joe fan you will love his performance.
