BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The highest-selling instrumental rock guitarist of all time, Joe Satriani was born in Westbury, NY in 1956. Before he gained fame, Satch made a living teaching some of the most influential guitarists of the ‘80s, including Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Steve Vai (David Lee Roth), and Larry LaLonde (Primus). His solo career took off with the hits “Always with Me, Always with You” and “Satch Boogie” off his 1987 album Surfing with the Alien. He kept his hot streak alive with his next two albums Flying in a Blue Dream (1988) and The Extremist (1992), which both went gold. In 1996 Satriani started the G3 Tour with friends Steve Vai and Eric Johnson to bring instrumental guitar music to the masses. In 2008 Satch joined forces with former Van Halen members Sammy Hagar (vocals), Michael Anthony (bass), and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith to create the supergroup Chickenfoot. While those projects keep him crazy busy, Satriani still continues to tour -- bringing venues like Warner Theatre to capacity -- and record as a solo artist, releasing Unstoppable Momentum in 2013.
Great concert!!!! Joe & his band really interacted with the crowd & even told us we were a great crowd. He played everything under the sun plus more!!!!! Snoqualmie Casino Ballroom was an excellent place to see a show!!!
Superb venue. I loved how the stage was raised so that I could actually see him. I am short and always get blocked at concerts. It wasn't too loud or too soft....it was perfect. One of the best concerts I have been to.
Great Band! Great Show! Super Energy..... The man just keeps getting better! I've seen him 10+ times, this show did not disapoint! The Band was very tight.
This was the third time to see Joe for me but the first in about 7 years. Joe is still at the top of his game and rocked the house. His band was tight and really contributed to the show as well. Don't miss your chance to see Joe doin his Satchman thang!
One of the best set lists I have seen him play to date. He responded to the crowds energy and turned it up on stage. I never miss a show when he comes to town.
Concert was excellent, Lighting and sound was very good. Seating was good and chairs comfortable.
Two thumbs up. Satch never dissapoints. If you've never seen him go now, if you have seen him before go again.
First time seeing Joe Satriani and first time viewing concert at the Snoqualmie ballroom. Overall it was a great night. I would love to see him again. It would be nice to have a place to stay nearby, Snoqualmie long distance for me to drive...I live in Lake Stevens. Also regarding the seating, great sound, but it'd be nice if there were some tiered seating for those of us who are vertically challeneged. Front row next time when I see Joe! Thanks!
This show was freakin awesome!!! Hands down Joe is God.. Started a little slow about 15 seconds worth then I can tell Joe was into it and man did he start jamming. Crowd was a older crowd but even the crowd was into it. I would go back and see Joe in a heartbeat.
We were in the front row during this event, and the experience was unbelievable! Joe and his band played "studio-perfect" music, with huge amounts of passion and emotion! My husband is a long-time fan of Joe and his sweet music, and to see him in this amazing venue was a perfect night for us! Also, Joe was wearing the most awesome tennis shoes I have seen!
UNBELIEVABLE!!....This guy was absolutley RIDICULOUS!.....AWESOME!
This was my first time seeing Satriani and my first time going to the Snoqualmie Casino for a show and they both wildly exceeded my expectations! Although the seats were squished together pretty tight, they were comfy and you can't argue with fifth row seats. When Joe would move to our end of the stage it was as if he was playing just for us. The sound was great and Joe certainly did his part. Quite simply, the guy is a guitar god. Joe's blend of hard rockin riffs, combined with an almost classical music influenced jams was just amazing.
Joe Satriani and his band were absolutely jamming! The music was insightful, moving and crossed a broad spectrum reaching across generations and life types. Truely inspirational to musicians and those that just enjoy good music and styles.
The music Joe played was amazing. He dug real deep all night and played a ton of old-school tunes. He played only about 3 or 4 new songs, but they were some of the best choices from his new album. My only complaint would be the venue. Sonqulamie Casino is nice to see a concert "IF" your in the first ten rows. Anything beyond that and you're looking right into the back of someones head. The ballroom where they have the concerts is flat and not like a theater where it goes upward so you can see the stage better. Once Joe hit the stage, everyone stands up (which is normal), but for anybody in Row 12 and beyond is screwed, unless you have an Aisle seat where you can move around a bit. Second annoying thing is, there is NO room in your seat. The chairs are so close together that unless your a skinny person, you will be sholder to shoulder with the people sitting next to you all night long.

Joe Satriani has to be one of the greatest guitarist I have ever seen. I don't think he missed one note the hole time. Sound quality was GREAT too. I would see him again for sure
close intimate style room for a concert .....great sound and the best performance I have ever been to for any type of concert. Joe performed for us like we were guests in his house.....very awesome experience even sitting towards the back was close enough to see it , feel it and appreciate it.
Was surprised that the casino had such good sound. Maybe it was just Joe. Good energy, stood the whole show.
Two choises after seeing him live. Sell the guitars or Practice is good!
Satriani is just too cool for humans. The music was great, he played basically non-stop and his band were perfect compliments to him. The Best Buy theater was a good size venue for him but the folding chairs were not that comfortable.
