  • Excellent show and venue

by KV on 4/28/25Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Joe Russo's Almost Dead was excellent! They jammed for 2 1/2 hours straight with no break! The Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas venue was also excellent! We sat / stood in the club area upstairs and the view and sound were great!

  • Over sold Venue

by JCuls on 4/28/25Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Seen JRAD a bunch on the East coast. Arrived in Vegas Friday night to see Dead & Co at the sphere Sat. Found out JRAD was playing a late night show hitting the stage at midnight which was 3am to this philly guy. Didn’t even hesitate. Who needs sleep. They were awesome per usual. Took a weekend I was looking forward to for a long time to legend status.

IMO they were very together. Having fun and jamming out. The set list was so good. They kept the crowd singing and dancing all night.

No drinking fountains inside the Brooklyn Bowl. Absolutely ridiculous.

  • Awesome

by MarcLe on 4/28/25Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic, jazzy take on Dead classics with Branford Marsalis making it all the more incredible for his two nights and Oteil's sit-in being very cool.

  • JRAD

by Bryan on 4/27/25Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The band was amazing, Brooklyn Bowl venue outstanding

  • JRAD left nothing in the dressing room!

by Mike on 4/26/25Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Never saw JRAD or been to The Brooklyn Bowl LV before. Outstanding show at an outstanding venue . I didn't think I'd survive GA but I did and it won't scare me off from returning ! I didn't expect Brandord Marsalis to be at this early show. So his performance and that of Oteil Burbridge made the show even more enjoyable.

  • Dynamic organic creative improvisation

by MikoIko on 4/26/25Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

There was a simple pulse from the beginning which exploded into each newly heard song as each was like none ever heard before. As each member individually played their instrument became one unexplored finetuned voice. Plenty of room for creation as each shared periods so far rhythmically in and out of time as the songs breathed new life to the listeners and noted they often surprised there selves. I will never be the same, thank you!

  • Eyes of the World

by Ben Kenobi on 4/26/25Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

First time at Brooklyn Bowl, came to see Branford play with JRAD . Great show! Good venue with A+ sound. Next time I would get lounge tix instead of GA. The floor was packed. Big Fun!

  • Best concert ever

by Zipsma on 4/26/25Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Apologies to Goose and Phish, both of whom I love, but I think this is the best jam band out there right now. I saw them an hour after Dead and Company in Vegas, and they took the music places I don't remember the original GD taking it. Throw Branford Marsalis in the mix and you had jams that owed as much to Ornette Coleman as Jerry, Phil, Bobby and all the rest. The musicianship is off the charts. They honor the music but they don't revere or imitate it, which is really the ONLY way to truly honor it. It's a jumping off point, which is what it always was when the Dead themselves played it. So in the whole Dead/jam universe, this may be the best show I've ever seen.

  • Acoustical Bummer

by Forever Dead on 2/16/25Savannah Civic Center - Johnny Mercer Theatre - SavannahRating: 3 out of 5

First time to the Johnny Mercer Theater. I think the band played well but was difficult to tell because the acoustics in the theater were so bad. Also the bass was too loud. Checked AI after the show and it confirmed the venue is known to have poor acoustics especially for rock concerts.

  • Oversold

by Norton on 12/10/24The Salt Shed Indoors (Shed) - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

Extremely oversold to th point of not being able to even enter inside the venue space

  • Too crowded

by Oversold on 12/9/24The Salt Shed Indoors (Shed) - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

This event must have been oversold. Couldnt move through the ga to go to the bathroom or bar. Insanely hot bc of the amount of people. Great venue but wont come back for an indoor show. Will stick to the summer/outdoor shows.
