JRad’s musical performance is so clean, so high energy, in sync with each other - delight for the senses. Entire show was great but the version of Jack Straw was probably best I’ve ever experienced
These guys are awesome. Their guitar jams are blistering and they tease songs and everything.
These guys are such incredible musicians. They have the funkiest improvisations on songs that I have heard a million times. They bring huge energy and they vibe is fantastic.
Awesome shows as always! JRAD is by far the best “Grateful Dead” live music experience today.
This show absolutely Rocked! They played several great songs by the legendary Grateful Dead & even one awesome tune by JGB!
First set opener gas!!! Enjoyed the show seen them so much better but overall decent setlist was kinda dull considering dead co played same songs for years
We had a great time seeing JRAD at the Wind River Event Center. The venue was laid back and the band played the most awesome music. I’d do it all over again.
Went to a ton of shows back in the day. I've heard about JRAD forever, and I pulled the trigger.. I love how they take the Jams and deconstruct and reconstruct them. Tremendous players! I definitely will see them again

Fantastic Venue, lush and green even though it's practically in downtown L.A., smooth lines getting in and plenty of ushers to help find our seats, not bad parking a short walk away, not even bad traffic leaving and Joe Russo's Almost Dead is an outstanding group, definitely one of my favorites!
I buy tickets many months in advance which is a good thing for everyone except me, I get pushed to the last odd seat in zone A section A which is 6 chsirs added which pusheds me even further from the stage in a corner where I cant even see the pianist. I buy the tix in advance & get shafted the furthest from the stage. I met people on the night of the show that had cheap further away seats come up front & be put directly where I wanted to purchase my tix. I was not given an opportunity to chose seat 1-3 therefore was shoved to the last seats 33-35! Why buy early exceited to see your fav band & pay over $500 for two tix when you screwed?
We brought my husbands cousin to JRAD. He had never been to a Dead show or anything like it. He was amazed that everyone at the show was up, standing, dancing having a good time. He had never seen that before! One friend told me, “ Oh, he got the bug….. We love the Greek Theater!
JRAD at the best outdoor venue in LA. Not overcrowded. All the best heads were there. Local all star band in the lot under a magnificent tree with two picnic tables nestled underneath and a five piece ensemble, complete with a groove mat out front. Almost didn't want to leave for the other show. We did. Waltzed right in the side, uphill entrance, and met a friend in the refreshment line. Some other friends stopped and said "Hi!"Next thing you know, we're all throwing him money and calling out orders! 😂 🍻🍺 I scored a miracle in the lot. One of five possible soul mates hooked me up! Bench seats! Not. First few rows of section B on the side. Met some cool peeps to jam with and a couple of friends joined us. Solid vibes all night. JRAD was on fire and it didn't take long for them to infuse us with their GD magic! St. Stephen wedged in-between a China>Ryder just blew out collective minds! The tempo was high all night! When we left, out the gates and onto the sidewalk, we were greeted to a Talking Heads tune. "This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)". Perfect? I immediately felt the vibe take control and started weaving around the crowd. It felt real good! I looked up and there were like a hundred other Groovers bopping and getting down. It was so neat! Spectacular evening! Thanks Greek and JRAD and all the cool peeps in Socal!
First time seeing JRAD. I am a huge Grateful Dead fan and I. love getting to keep that fire burning with other GD cover bands like Grateful Shred and Cubensis. JRAD did such a great and just somewhat different take on the Grateful Dead they have won my heart over on the first go. What a good time!
The venue was great and band as amazing! Super fun and safe.
Well, since Dead & Company has ended their run, JRAD is a great way to get your dose of Dead tunes... Then again, if you are here reading about Joe Russo, you probably already know that.
Went to the Greek Saturday the 14th to take in a J rad show the show was fantastic from start to finish the Greek staff made it seamless to get it to get seated 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. To the Greek staff and the band played 2 excellent sets end ending the show with Led Zeppelin’s black dog. I’m sure not a person in the house picked that one. Can’t wait to get out t to the Greek for another great concert.
