Friday night
by Christmas gift on 1/10/23Punch Line Philly - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5Great night . Very funny. Was on stage for at least an hour after a very good opening act

Comedian Joe Matarese grew up in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area and his comedy has a very strong connection to where he comes from. Joe's connection is so connected to that area these days that he titled his current comedy tour It's In The Wooder. People from the area know what that means, and if you don't pronounce the word water, wooder you'll still find Joe's comedy funny. The main reason for that is because he's so likable on stage, and he covers tons of subjects for all ages to enjoy. Joe's many standup comedy TV appearances include The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Craig Kilborn, Comedy Central Presents Joe Matarese (his own 1/2 Hour Special), and he was a regular on Chelsea Lately. Joe was also featured on America's Got Talent on NBC, where he received a standing ovation from all four celebrity judges. Joe has also been a guest on popular radio shows and podcasts including The Howard Stern Show, WTF with Marc Maron, The Adam Corolla Show, Preston & Steve on WMMR in Philadelphia, and 94.1 WIP in Philadelphia.
Joe has 4 One Hour Comedy Specials to his name, Medicated, The Poster's Wrong, Mullets and Mixtapes, and Almost Sold Out. They are now all available to watch for free on Joe's YouTube channel. Don't miss Joe live at one of his upcoming shows. His act is always changing along with his life!

Love seeing Joe and this did not disappoint. Awesome night out and funny show. Punch Line is a great venue and super accommodating. Looking for a great comedian and tons of laughs, go see Matarese!
Large space. Clean. Great bar/wait staff. MC was terrible. Opening act, wish I remember who he was, was better that Matarese who apparently was too tired to do a proper act and asked us what we wanted to hear like he was a comedy DJ and complained about the small crowd.
