    Joe and Bruce together again!

by dmjjb on 7/21/15The Wonder Bar - Asbury Park

Was happy to be going to local spot to see Joe Grushecky play again, and was enjoying it a lot when all of a sudden a Bruce concert broke out in the middle of it! Stayed on stage with Joe for 2 solid hours of the best music there is. I was in heaven. Doesn't get any better than that. Best concert I have ever seen in a small local venue with 200 other lucky people. Will never forget it.

A fantastic show and then Bruce Springsteen joined in. They played 15 songs with a mixtue of Springsteen and Grushecki that made it AMAZING!

Great show. Not only does Joe "still look good for 60", he still is able to rock it hard at 60. Not sure why so many people continue to show up to Joe's shows hoping Bruce will show up. Joe's music stands on its own and is in no need of a celebrity appearance. I'll continue to go to Joe's shows whenever he's at the Jersey shore. Really great time, really great music.

The Matt O'Ree Band was one of the best bands Ive seen live. They kdft it all on the stage with a sweaty blues rock killer set!

    Unforgettable Night!!

by BellaE25 on 6/2/14Soldiers and Sailors Hall - Pittsburgh

What an amazing show! Love the bond Bruce and Joe have. Definitely feel lucky to have seen Bruce Springsteen in a 2000 seat venue. If you ever get the chance to see Bruce and Joe together (or by themselves) it is a must see show

AHH You Missed the best show ever

by YUMYUM13 on 5/27/14Soldiers and Sailors Hall - Pittsburgh

The intimate setting of Soldiers and Sailors was perfect for this casual show of this iconic band of Pittsburgh and Legendary Springsteen. It was a totally different vibe than the Consol show and just as equally wonderful. Would love to see this show at Heinz hall for a better sound system but this show was amazing.

    Night Two was even better!!!

by JoeyS34 on 5/26/14Soldiers and Sailors Hall - Pittsburgh

Great second night. Bruce, Joe, and The Houserockers really turned it up on the second night. 29 songs over 3+ hours. Night One was very good, but this show was even longer and better overall. I'm always amazed at how polished Bruce and Joe & the Houserockers sound together. Bruce's guitar work, especially on "Human Touch" was immaculate.

joe and bruce at soldiers and sailors hall

by stealth1 on 5/26/14Soldiers and Sailors Hall - Pittsburgh

Another great show from the boys. Both Joe and Bruce were in great spirits and poured a lot of energy and soul into the performance. Played a lot of new songs and material. Look forward to Friday night to see what different songs are in store. There's some great chemistry between the two of them.

Great show! Always fun to see Bruce play with Joe and the Houserockers. Good mix of Springsteen and Grushecky songs, and it's nice to see Bruce do songs he doesn't play very often.

Great show from Bruce, Joe, and the Houserockers

by JoeyS34 on 5/25/14Soldiers and Sailors Hall - Pittsburgh

Great show. Really cool, intimate venue and the Houserockers do a great job as a backing band for Bruce, not to mention playing their own stuff really well, too. Bruce played a lot of rarities, which was cool to see. A nice change up; a lot of stuff he doesn't normally do with the E Street Band.

    Bruce is a God!!

by Max1227 on 5/25/14Soldiers and Sailors Hall - Pittsburgh

Both Bruce and Joe were terrific! Bruce looked more animated, less stressed, and happier, than the Consol Energy High Hopes Show on 4/22. While the Consol show was still a 6 star performance (great songs, great band, great sound, and great seats), the show with Joe was a bit less enjoyable for the following reasons: -- sound/acoustics were not as good - there was occasional feedback and some distortion when the music was really loud - particularly when Joe sang loudly. -- I choose isle seats because the older venue has very little grading up as you go back from the stage. There were people walking up and down the isle constantly. Very annoying.

    Words cannot explain....

by eas1404 on 5/25/14Soldiers and Sailors Hall - Pittsburgh

This was one of the best concerts I have seen in a long time. The relaxed nature of the evening, changing the playlist, the humor, the Ativan story.... it was FUN! True small venue beginning of career telling stories doesn't have to be perfect FUN FUN FUN!!! Let's do this again next year!

No as good as in the past

by ArtieM on 5/25/14Soldiers and Sailors Hall - Pittsburgh

Went and enjoyed it but had been at previous shows and we went to concert last month and it was exceptional. There were to many slow songs not enough rock and roll. For the cost of the tickets was highly disappointed .
