Joan Jett grew up during a time when rock 'n' roll was off limits to girls and women, but as a teenager, she promptly blasted the door to the boys' club right off its hinges. After forming her band the Blackhearts in 1979, with whom Jett has become a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, she has had eight platinum and gold albums and nine Top 40 singles, including the classics "Bad Reputation," "I Love Rock 'N' Roll," "I Hate Myself For Loving You," and "Crimson and Clover." With a career that has spanned music, film, television, Broadway, and humanitarianism, Joan Jett remains a potent force and inspiration to generations of fans worldwide. As a producer, she has overseen seminal albums by Bikini Kill, and the Germs' LA punk masterpiece 'GI.' Jett and Kenny Laguna (her longtime producer and music partner) co-founded Blackheart Records from the trunk of Kenny's Cadillac after rejections from no less than 23 labels. 40 years later, Blackheart is a thriving entertainment company producing music, film and television, and continues to champion emerging bands. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts continue to tour the world with headlining shows and alongside fellow rock legends like The Who, Green Day, Heart, Foo Fighters and Alanis Morrissette (Summer 2024). 'Bad Reputation,' a documentary about Jett's life, premiered to critical acclaim at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Following up on the band's 2022 release Changeup, their first-ever acoustic album, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts' EP Mindsets was released as a Record Store Day First vinyl piece on 11/24/23. JJ's shows are famously great, and this one was no exception. Who says girls can't rock? The high point for me was her cover of Iggy's "I Wanna Be Your Dog." I also enjoyed the very diverse, mellow crowd. The building was full of smiles, good will, and tolerance.
Great concert! She sounds and looks just as good now as she did the first time I saw her in the 80"s!

While this was my 5th time seeing Joan Jett live, she NEVER disappoints! She sounds & looks GREAT! LOVE her show, even though she always leaves you wanting more! Her show generally runs about an hour & 20 min, wouldn't mind if the show was longer! Will see her everytime she comes to town!
Joan has a ton of raw energy that comes through in her live performance. She has a special way of getting the audience involved and making everybody there feel like part of the show. There were a couple times I would swear she was singing directly to me.
Fantastic show from an epic performer. Nice mix of classic stuff, Runaways, and a few from her new album.

What a fun show, you forget how many hits she had until your listen to all of them! She looks amazing and still shred's on the guitar, go see the show. Don't cheeze out and get the cheap seats, get up closer. Only problem with the show was the delay on the monitors from real time, not the best venue I have been to be a stretch, but can't complain with her performance at all. Stayed at the Casino hotel and the knocked an extra $50 off the room for going to the show, so that rocked as well.
This was my daughters first concert and she was blown away. Rock on Joan Jett!
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts were amazing! I grew up listening to her, because my mom is a huge fan. We went to the show together and had so much fun! Joan sounds better than ever!

I saw Joan Jett at Black Bear Casino in Carlton MN on Jan. 22nd 2011. It was by far the best concert I have ever been to. She maybe 52, but she doesnt look or sound like it. She sounds just like the albums. I LOVE YOU JOAN JETT!!!! Come back to Minnesota soon!
Took the family to Busch gardens in Tampa and was excited to find Joan Jett would be performing. Rolled over a few minutes late with Bad Reputation already under way and enjoyed about 75 minutes of music Music sounded great and Joan looks fantastic
This is my 4th time seeing Joan in concert and she gives one of the best live performances I've seen.. She's sooo sexy.
At 52, Joan Jett can still belt out the tunes! Her voice sounded great and so did the band.
Joan Jett was awesome!!!! She put on a great show. I've been a fan for about 25 years and it was impressive. Probably the best concert I've seen in a long while. She engaged the crowd and sounded great. I was sad to see the show end. I will definately go see her again and would recommend her show to others.
Wasn't sure what to expect exactly, but I knew I loved her songs. She did an awesome job and keep the crowd going. The concert was only 90 minutes long but well worth the $$$. Joan looks amazing and sounds amazing. It was a good time.
She played all the favorites and some newer tunes as well! She sounded great, looked great, and definitely put on a great show. I would love to see her again!
I purchased these tickets for our kids. Both girls are big fans of Joan. They went together and came home with rave reviews. Very pleased they enjoyed it so much.
