JO DEE MESSINA IN CONCERT:
Country music just wouldn't be the same without Jo Dee Messina's spunky collection of hits and trademark red hair. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
A Massachusetts native, Jo Dee Messina started out singing in local clubs with her siblings, eventually attracting the attention of Curb Records and moving to Nashville. Her solo career kicked off in 1996 with her widely successful self-titled debut, which reached No. 5 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and produced two Top Ten singles. I'm Alright followed two years later and generated significant buzz with three No. 1 hits, ultimately going double platinum in the US. Since then, she's collaborated with Tim McGraw, toured with legends George Strait and The Judds, and sold over five million albums. With the desire to truly connect her fans to her music, Messina launched a Kickstarter campaign to support her 2014 album, reaching her goal in just 30 days due to her extremely dedicated fan base. Jo Dee Messina will treat audiences to her classics as well as new material from her fifth studio album Me on a string of upcoming shows.

It was a great show,I think Jo Dee Messina stoled the show for sure...I even got to meet John Micheal Montgomery backstage and get his autograph and a picture with him... :)
The concert for the most part was very good,but we especially loved JoDee Messina and Bucky Covington.They both had so much energy and sounded GREAT! I am a huge John Michael Montgomery fan and loved hearing all the ballads...was apparent he had some voice issues going on,but he definately gave a great show all in all.Jack Ingram started slow but rocked it in the end.Overall very good show!
We bought the tickets on the spur of the moment on Wed before Friday's show. Found buy one get one free deal online and FRONT ROW was available! All 4 performances were great. I felt bad for the performers because we heard they had only sold 1100 seats. They set up the stage half way into the middle of the auditorium which made it very small and all GREAT seats from anywhere. Hadn't heard much from Jo Dee in a while and wonder why....she has an awesome voice, very personable with the audience and gave a great performance. Have to say Bucky was a bit suprising..........his voice was great and he already knows how to give a great performance.
We had a great time all the acts were awesome!!! love you Bucky. wish more famous acts would come to the Civic Center
show was rushed because of a show conflict in new york. if was very evident.
The show was definately worth the money! 4 GREAT performances. My daughters got to meet Bucky Covington & Jack Ingram too!
It was a GREAT concert.. BUT they should have started it a hour earlier it was way too long! And Jo Dee Messina should have been the headliner! She was amazing. John Michael put me to sleep singing all his slow song hits at 10 pm at night.. Next time have Jo Dee close the arena wouldn’t have cleared out so fast before the concert ended. Jo Dee keep it up! and come back soon.!
It was a good concert but I was surprised that there were not more people there to see this concert. And it was not too far from home. I want to tell a story of why we came about to go to this. When I started at my job a girl walked by and I said you look like a celebrity and she said who and I said Jo Dee Messina and ever since we call each other Jo Dee. And I told her if she ever came locally we were going to see her. Would have loved to meet Jo Dee Messina to tell her this story. Loved the concert
Had a great time at this show. Bucky was very good. Jack, very entertaining, and JoDee was awesome. We, regrettably had to leave after Jo Dee and didn't get to see John Michael Montgomery.
This concert was awesome! My only problem was I was very saddened to see so few people there that they had to move the stage to the center of the arena. Other than that, all performers were great :)
This concert lasted 4.5 hours and was GREAT!! And I loved Jo Dee Messina's cover of Black Cat! Bucky Covington can entertain, and JMM sang his best songs! Who can complain?!
Great night, got to meet Jo Dee! had excellent seats in front of the stage. Every performer was awesome. If you didn't get a chance to go... you missed a great concert
My wife loved all the acts. Especially JoDee Messina. We had a good time and we would do it again.
Jo Dee - exceptional voice... Quick witted, easy give/take with audiance. John Michael - Great hearing his Hit rendition. Excellent backup band. Jack: So So seemed a bit distant with the audiance.. no outstnading vocals, and ban was OK Bucky: GREAT personality.. songs were well sung Drawback of the evening were the board operators for Bucky Covington, and Jack Ingrahm.... squealling, distorted and scratching mikes. Both seemed a bit out of their element and not up to the job
The singers were absolutly amazing! The only downside for this event was the fact that it took quite a long time in between singers. During those periods of setup they also played music not meant for a country concert which is equivalent to jazz played at a heavy metal concert. Though it was slow for setup the singers were amazing, I wish they would have done a duet though :(
We thought wife and myself , Bucky covington was outstanding , got alittle disappointed with Jack ingram, john Michael Montgomery was very good , and Jo Dee Messina puts on one of the better shows i've seen down there , from start to finish she was outstanding .would go and see bucky Covington and jo Dee Messian again
It was way to long. The First two were really good, and Jo Dee M was the best of all four. It was late and John Michael was not very enteretaining so we left after about 4-5 songs. I would go see any of the first three performances again not the last.
I brought my husband for his birthday and what a gift it was! We had fairly good seats on the floor and really got into the singing. We especially enjoyed Bucky Covington and JoDee...They really know how to interact with a crowd.
The performers were excellent but the patrons were awful. Had front row seats and quite a few people pushed and shoved to block our way so we couldn't see the stage. Each performer got the crowd going and kept us very entertained!!
acoustics were terrible! have come to expect of opening acts, but Jack Ingram's guitar player was way too loud. even Jo Dee and John Michael were difficult to understand. Yes, the band is important, but - personally - I come to hear the singing
