It was an outstanding high powered concert by a very talented group of musicians!
JJ Grey and Mofro played for more than 2.5 hours. His voice and the band's sound was unreal like usual. And the Taft is such a great venue. Highly recommend both band and venue.
Definitely worth the trip! Would go again! Really cool venue! Not too loud. Plenty of room to dance. Bar closed well before show ended.
My first JJ show, it was everything I hoped it would be and more. The talent on the stage is incredible, from JJ’s vocals to back up singers, the musicians, it was a real delight to sit back and listen to. JJ is very engaging to the crowd which makes one feel even more connected to the show. They played every song I hoped they’d play, including The Sun is Shining Down, Rooster, The Sea, and a strong cover of Seminole Wind. Truly, thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the show and would absolutely see them again. In fact, I flew into Omaha from Phoenix to see this one, and would do it again.
Amazing,. authentic, spiritual, and fun! What an incredible group of talented individuals. I can't wait to see you this summer at Knuckleheads in KC!♥️
As always JJ Grey knocked it out of the park . It was my first time to the Steelhouse and that venue knocked it out of the park as well. Fantastic evening!
The band sounded perfect and it was a fantastic show. The Steelhouse is a beautiful venue with plenty of room on the floor and seating options if you don’t like the GA tickets. I saw at least two bars inside and one in the lobby. Drink prices are outrageous. I don’t drink alcohol and it was $10 for a water and a club soda with a lemon.
Third time we have seen JJ Grey, he never disappoints he is a true entertainer. We just happened to be in Omaha and couldn’t miss it. What a great venue Steel House, if you haven’t gone get there fast!
Great performance. We enjoyed the evening immensely, both the music and the venue
The upper tier seating was pretty tight. The legroom was short and definitely no room to dance with my lady. The music was adjusted a little bit high and hearing the singer was tough sometimes. Also they didn’t play very long.
JJ Grey and Mofro are the best live performers put there! Energetic and uplifting! Can't wait to see them again!
Another great show by JJ Grey and the band. Several new songs were featured in his set in addition to some of his standards(99 Shades of Crazy, Lochloosa, Everything Good is Bad, Brighter Days, etc.)
JJ Grey did not disappoint. Excellent show! If you haven't seen this band, you should!
Love the energy, the love, and the music that JJ Grey and Mofro give to us at each performance, and this one was no exception. I'll make sure and attend again.
Wow! What a show! The ensemble, the lights, the music, both old & new were fabulous! JJ’s soulful style and friendly entertaining stage presence made the night. I have been a fan for many years, have seen him several times and I have to say this was the best show!
Incredible performance! JJ is firing on all cylinders for this tour! They played till 10pm and sounded fantastic! Love seeing this band in concert! Super talented musicians that are so good and love what they do! Do not miss this tour! As far as the Firefly Distillery. Drinks expensive, notably weak, VERY SMALL pours, limited options, etc. Almost silly. Spent a fortune on cocktails that tasted watered down, and flavorless, etc. Wish I had a photo of the old fashioned. Ridiculous. Additionally, they did a poor job with how they set up the viewing area. Poor planning. They got some things to figure out for sure!
What a great show! JJ Grey & Mofro never disappoint. They are such an energetic band, and it was very hard not to stand up during the DPAC show. I didn't want to block my neighbors behind us. That's was the only negative thing about the concert. We enjoy outdoor music events more when possible.
Another awesome show by JJ Grey and MOFRO in Durham on 3/16/24. The full band with brass section, 2 percussionists/drummer and the lovely backup singers absolutely rocked. The new album Olustee was a huge hit and many songs were featured such as "The Sea"which was a crowd favorite of the night. Always the proverbial down to earth, straight talking showman, JJ grey has the charisma and musical chops to engage and thrill his fans!
Great show!! Loved every minute!! DPAC is truly the best venue around!
Great venue great show can’t wait to see them again in May in their home state and town!
