We have seen JJ multiple times over the years. He is better than ever and this was his best show we’ve ever seen. His new music may be his best yet.

  • Great show!

First time seeing JJ Grey & Mofro. The night lived up to the hype. Great musicianship and JJ is a great leader of the band. The all looked like they were having as much fun as the crowd. Will definitely see the band again the next time they are around.

Have seen JJ a bunch of times... hands down, this was the best show I saw him do! Fantastic background vocals, and band was as awesome as ever!

  • Great Show

by Kevbobb on 4/9/24State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

JJ Grey is a great performer, musician and singer. His band are all top notch musicians as well. He performed for 2 hours straight, new stuff, old stuff, it was all good. Very very personal touch with his audience. If you have not seen JJ Grey & Mofro, you are missing out. It will be a show that you will soon not forget.

  • Funky, Fresh, and Fun

by clacey on 4/9/24State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent concert! Judith Hill was incredible. What a phenomenal opening act. And J.J. Grey did not disappoint. This band is talented and tight. It's not easy to put an 11-piece band up on the State Theater stage but they rocked the night away!!

  • What a view

by ST on 4/9/24State Theatre - PortlandRating: 1 out of 5

Rude people standing up in front of wife and I with no concern of the people behind them Really sucked especially paying for a seat inflated prices l wasn’t the only one who didn’t care for this Many people were pissed and yelling sit down People are rude more so these days talking throughout performance

  • Captivating, soulful and sexy

by Lisathescot on 4/8/24Citizens House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

JJ Grey and Mofro once again delivered a fun, heartfelt, soulful show as was expected. He’s genuine and it comes through so well in his songs. I can’t wait until he’s back in the area, hopefully before next year.

  • Not many bands are as tight as JJ Grey’s

by dave on 4/8/24Citizens House of Blues Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

A great 2 hours and 15 minutes of fun music lead by a talented frontman. A really great rhythm section with maybe the happiest bass player. The horns were spectacular and the backup singers were star quality on their own. Soulful and at the same time rocking guitar and solid keyboards. The crowd was engaged from the first note.

  • JJ Does it Again!

    by Jen Z on 4/3/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

JJ had the audience in his hand and the energy connection between performer and audience was beautiful. One of my favorite shoes ever!

  • Great

by MJ on 4/3/24Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was the perfect size. No issues. Judith Hill was incredible and nice to have been given the opportunity to hear her. Will be following her in the future. JJ sounded the best he ever has. He is so appreciative of his fans. Hope he comes to Dayton in the near future, since that is where we live. He needs to look into preforming at the Fraze Pravillion he would kill it there.

  • Amazing Trooper

by Bob on 4/2/24Kalamazoo State Theatre - KalamazooRating: 5 out of 5

JJ Grey and his band fell sick from a bug going around and his voice was limited due to that. He and his band pushed through the sickness and still provided us with an amazing evening. We can't thank him enough!!!
