  • JJ was awesome!!

by Woody88 on 5/20/25Hard Rock Cincinnati Outdoor Arena - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

The music was awesome, but Hard Rock charging $12 for a beer is borderline criminal!

  • Amazing show & venue!!

by Raye3434 on 5/20/25Hard Rock Cincinnati Outdoor Arena - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

JJ Grey was awesome! The musicians all sounded great and we had the best time. Marshall Tucker Band jammed too. The outdoor venue at Hard Rock was a perfect spot for the show and we could not have asked for a better night. Overall a fantastic experience! Chef’s kiss

  • Concert was excellent

by Corona on 5/20/25Hard Rock Cincinnati Outdoor Arena - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

JJ was great. Sound was good, plenty of space to move about. We did have good weather so that helped. The downfall was being charged $12.00 for a beer. What a rip off. Only had one beer til concert was over then went into casino for cheaper drinks!!

  • Stellar performance

by Dave H on 5/20/25Hard Rock Cincinnati Outdoor Arena - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Having seen JJ multiple times, it’s always a treat to see him having fun and feeling the love. Cincy was no different. It was electric, authentic and downright emotional. I thought it ended a little earlier than expected but still a great night of music like only JJ and Mofro can do.

  • Excellent Show!

JJ Grey is a great live show and they are great people too! It sure didn't hurt that the venue and the weather were fantastic as well!

An amazing experience that ranks right up top among all of the shows I have seen! Incredible bands and an incredible venue!! Top notch event that I will remember forever!! The Marshall Tucker Band with Can’t You See!!?? JJ Grey and MOFRO were off the hook! Love you, JJ!!! Brighter Days indeed!!

  • Fantastic!!!

by GirlOnFiya on 2/7/25South Shore Room at Harrah's Lake Tahoe - StatelineRating: 5 out of 5

The theatre at Harrah’s is fabulous! It’s not too big, so it feels intimate and everywhere is a great spot to watch the show. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The bar setup is great with one on either side of the stage. JJ Grey & Mofro rocked it and gave an amazing performance. The entire experience was incredible and I’ll be looking forward to other shows at this venue. Great night!!!

  • FANTASTIC

by Sheila on 2/3/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

By far the best show I've seen in awhile, really hope they come back again!!

  • Heartfelt music!

by Amy on 2/3/25Rating: 5 out of 5

What an amazing show. JJ is not just singing words and playing music, he is feeling it and the audience can tell. It adds an extra dimension to his concert that I have not felt from a lot of other performers. I will be seeing this band every chance I get!

  • Awesome Experience!

    by Skibum7 on 2/3/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

We really enjoyed the energy that JJ Grey & Mofro expressed during their show! Great concert at an intimate venue. We look forward to the next time we get to see them!

  • Best sons mix I have ever heard in the Avalon Theater!

by Bix on 2/2/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome show, I enjoyed every song, I’m glad that the band sticks together, they have great chemistry, of course JJ Grey is a class act! Hope they’ll come back again hopefully at Los Colonias Amphitheater!

  • Great

by Music lover on 2/2/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

Such a great full sound, 11 piece band, amazing harmonica breaks, soulfilled lyrics. I'm a big fan

  • Top notch performance

by Meechmar on 2/2/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

JJ's show was top notch ... such an honest voice and soul ... plus his harmonica, brass section that sounded like Herb Albert, 2 backup blues singers, Congo drums, great bass and rhythm guitarists... we were floored.

  • I am hoarse from singing and clapping

by Di on 2/2/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

I bought seats really close to the front as soon as they went on sale. I had seen JJ Gray twice before, but never with his band. What an amazing group of musicians. I loved the total experience.

  • Awesome concert

  • JJ at the Avalon

by Papa on 2/2/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

If you haven’t seen or heard JJ Grey you need to. Great live show super clean. Avalon in GJ is a great venue.

  • So frickin' AMAZING!

by Jaymon on 2/2/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 5 out of 5

JJ Grey and Mofro were at their best! Every tune was over the top and JJ connected with the audience in a way I've never seen before at any concert. The band was so tight they nearly set the stage on fire! Do not miss the chance to see these talented musicians! The only downside is that the Avalon generally does not condone dancing. While they allowed it for JJ, you had to stay at your seat. No one is allowed to come to the front, as there scant space for more than a few folks.

  • Was slow

by Epl on 2/2/25Avalon Theatre - Grand JunctionRating: 3 out of 5

I really enjoy JJ’s music. That said I felt it needed to be more upbeat. They only played 2 of their more upbeat songs. Everyone on stage was very talented with the exception of the drummer. Thankfully the bass player was able to hold the bottom end together. The horn section was great, JJ and the back up signers all have amazing voices. Seemed like 1/2 the band was on Molly, but defiantly did a great job nonetheless. I will continue to listen to JJ, but I would be hesitant to drop the money on another show.
