About

RuPaul's Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon (she/her/they/them) is the "internationally tolerated" cabaret icon who's taken over the entertainment industry as an award-winning actress, acclaimed vocalist, and theatre sensation. She's now competing on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 7 amongst a cast of all winning contestants.

Since gaining a massive international fan base, Jinkx has toured the world performing her original cabaret shows with music partner Major Scales, including highly-acclaimed shows like The Ginger Snapped, The Vaudevillians (which became a hit off-broadway sensation) and their most recent production, Together Again, Again (2022). In 2018, she partnered with best friend and fellow RuPaul's Drag Race star, BenDeLaCreme for their first major holiday tour To Jesus, Thanks for Everything! - Jinkx and DeLa. Jinkx and DeLa's co-written holiday productions have grown into a worldwide phenomenon, spawning the 2019 tour, All I Want for Christmas is Attention, a Hulu holiday hit, The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special (2020), and The Return of the Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show, LIVE! (2021) which performed for sold-out audiences at venues like the Fillmore (Philadelphia) all across the U.S., U.K. and Canada.

She is an award-winning stage actress, having won the Gregory Award for her portrayal of Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and most recently, The MAC Award for her show The Ginger Snapped, co-written with Major Scales. No stranger to film and TV, Jinkx has appeared on the CBS cop drama Blue Bloods, the Netflix original AJ and the Queen, and has voiced characters for such animated shows as Steven Universe, Mighty Magiswords, Bravest Warriors, as well as a few surprises that are yet to come! Jinkx has been the subject of two documentaries: Drag Becomes Him, and The Queens.

Jinkx is gearing up for the release of her new EP out later this summer, and has dropped the lead single for the project, "Know-It-All" written by Major Scales.

It was perfection! I can't wait to see her again! The next RuPaul in the making!

  • Jinkx. Was. AMAZING.

by Jason on 7/26/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Jinkx Monsoon is the Queen of Queens for a reason. She’s incredible. But the seating was incredibly uncomfortable and the venue became very warm the last 1/2 hour or so of the show. But Jinkx and her band…? Remarkable!

  • Jinx was great, venue not so much

by Jeff on 7/26/23Rating: 3 out of 5

Never get seats on the floor. You will LITERALLY be sitting on top of someone so you can all fit. The sound quality was awful!! You couldn’t understand any songs. Period. You could hear her speaking just find though. Jinx herself was brilliant!

  • 4 out 5 Stars

    by Toddler P on 7/26/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Not a show tune/Broadway kind of gay... But Jinkx is and the original songs were a bit much for me... Will take WHATEVER she is serving.... SO TALENTED... LOVE HER

  • Great performer hot by bad sound

    by LeoBear73 on 7/26/23Rating: 4 out of 5

I want to give 5 stars b/c Jinkx was amazing. The venue is very, very nice. But the sound was terrible. The music was too loud, causing Jinkx and company to be often drowned out or unintelligible. The show overall was excellent.

  • Fabulous Queen

The show was well put together and a great time. Jinkx was an amazing entertainer and was able to have a great variety show including singing and comedy.

  • Jinkx does it again!

by Romelio on 7/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show. Jinks is a very experienced performer so we knew we were going to be treated to a spectacular night. She always surprises us. Her singing and comedy keeps getting better. She is having a great year, and at this point she could just stand in front of the audience and we would be happy, but she gives everything she has every night. Love our Jinkxsy!!!

  • A great show that was worth the wait!

by MOBrien on 7/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I’ve wanted to see Jinx live since she won RPDR Season 5, so when this show was announced I immediately bought tickets. It was great and kooky just like Jinx and I enjoyed the unique experience that is different from what a normal show of a drag artist is. The only detraction was that the sound for the instruments was very loud and the hall’s acoustics didn’t help. This resulted in Jinx’s singing being drowned out at times.

  • It’s Monsoon Season!

by Sarah on 7/26/23Rating: 5 out of 5

One of the funniest, most entertaining, most heartfelt shows you will ever see. Jinkx does it all with Major Scales and the Badlings making the show even more phenomenal. Go see it!

  • Venue was tight and warm

by Dumpling on 7/26/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Jinkx was great and so talented. We had a lot of fun. The only con were the seats and the temperature. The seats were really tight that we were shoulder to shoulder with people next to us so it was a bit uncomfortable. Also, the venue at the Hard Rock in Orlando was really warm. Not good when you live in Florida and it’s already warm.

  • I am proud of Jinkx!

by Woody : ImZadi on 7/18/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Everything from the quality and diversity of content, to the caliber of vocals, and the confidence that she had taking the stage was on point! I have gradually become a fan of Jinkx watching her journey from Drag Race, and have to say that she just keeps getting better every time that I see something that she has created put into action. She is quick witted, gorgeous, kind, interactive, and relatable. Her content is not only entertaining but has depth, leaving us not only feeling great about the fun that we have had with her, but with a strong message about many things that are relevant continuing those good vibes when the show is over. I fully believe that she will continue to grow as an artist, and I cannot wait to see the things that she is able to accomplish in what I believe to be an enduring career into the future. Thanks for being so YOU Jinkx, you make me proud in turn to be me. You have a fan with my husband and I, and we will keep tuning in to see what magic you keep casting our way! Your fellow witch, ImZadi.

  • Deeply Disappointed

by Ryan on 7/17/23Rating: 2 out of 5

I wish I had seen the show that everyone else is raving about. We love Jinkx Monsoon and have been adoring fans since she was Little Edie for snatch game. But this show was so deeply below her caliber of music and comedy that we left the theater sadly dazed. What happened? If the whole show were akin to the airport monologue, or the dead celebrity impressions, it would have been an easy 5 stars. Ultimately, it was just a drag show, but we expected so much more from them.

  • Great show when we could hear the singing!

by Hannah on 7/17/23Rating: 5 out of 5

We had a great time, but as soon as it was over all four of us said "did you have trouble hearing her over the band?"- I don't know if it was a problem with the mixing, the speakers, etc. We were in the balcony center, near the front. When she sang an original song with the band we were pretty much SOL on understanding a single word coming out of her mouth. Luckily that was only a few songs and the rest was either spoken or it was a song we knew.

  • Not what I expected

by Sam on 7/17/23Rating: 3 out of 5

So this was my first drag show and I was really excited to see it. I’m not sure what I expected but this wasn’t quite it. I’m not sure if it was that it was mostly original music that I wasn’t familiar with or not but I didn’t really enjoy it. I think I expected more than just a one person show with a band. Jinkx’s monologue was at times funny and entertaining but some of it was repetitive and a little too scripted. A lot of the audience seemed to really enjoy it, maybe Jinkx just wasn’t for me.

  • Queen of all queens makes her mark!

by Mikroman on 7/17/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Incredible creative, overly talented and hysterically funny. This was a fabulous comedy show, drag show and vocal concert packed into one. I highly recommend seeing Jinx in person. I have several times and each performance is unique.

  • Mama Jinxx Monsoon

by Yoyovonnie on 7/17/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Anything that Jinxx Monsoon does is fantastic. Great venue. Plan on seeing her whenever she is in Chicago. Laughed the whole time

  • The BEST

by Steve on 7/17/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Hilarious & original! A ton of love, light, and comedy!

  • Fabulous Show

by Jane on 7/17/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The performance and entire evening was everything I hoped for and more. I've been a fan of Jinkx since her first season on Drag Race and have followed her ever since. She is a well rounded, talented and versatile performer. The venue was beautiful, ushers were friendly, and crowd diverse and engaged. I couldn't believe Jinkx managed to stand in stilettos for two hours. My feet hurt for her!
