About

RuPaul's Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon (she/her/they/them) is the "internationally tolerated" cabaret icon who's taken over the entertainment industry as an award-winning actress, acclaimed vocalist, and theatre sensation. She's now competing on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 7 amongst a cast of all winning contestants.

Since gaining a massive international fan base, Jinkx has toured the world performing her original cabaret shows with music partner Major Scales, including highly-acclaimed shows like The Ginger Snapped, The Vaudevillians (which became a hit off-broadway sensation) and their most recent production, Together Again, Again (2022). In 2018, she partnered with best friend and fellow RuPaul's Drag Race star, BenDeLaCreme for their first major holiday tour To Jesus, Thanks for Everything! - Jinkx and DeLa. Jinkx and DeLa's co-written holiday productions have grown into a worldwide phenomenon, spawning the 2019 tour, All I Want for Christmas is Attention, a Hulu holiday hit, The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special (2020), and The Return of the Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show, LIVE! (2021) which performed for sold-out audiences at venues like the Fillmore (Philadelphia) all across the U.S., U.K. and Canada.

She is an award-winning stage actress, having won the Gregory Award for her portrayal of Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and most recently, The MAC Award for her show The Ginger Snapped, co-written with Major Scales. No stranger to film and TV, Jinkx has appeared on the CBS cop drama Blue Bloods, the Netflix original AJ and the Queen, and has voiced characters for such animated shows as Steven Universe, Mighty Magiswords, Bravest Warriors, as well as a few surprises that are yet to come! Jinkx has been the subject of two documentaries: Drag Becomes Him, and The Queens.

Jinkx is gearing up for the release of her new EP out later this summer, and has dropped the lead single for the project, "Know-It-All" written by Major Scales.

Great performers shame about the sound

    by Ade on 8/15/23

Great looking venue, Jinkxs and her band put on a good show. Unfortunately in our part of the theatre the sound mix was wrong with the bass and drums overpowering the vocals… we could tell Jinkx was singing but had no idea what the lyrics were. There were a couple of songs where she was just accompanied by a piano and that sounded a lot clearer. It was quite disappointing

    Excellent Show/Uncomfortable Venue

    by Jay on 8/15/23

Jinkx Monsoon is lovely and always puts on an amazing show. If it wasn't for the incredibly uncomfortable seating at the Paramount, I would have given it 5 Stars. The theatre is historic and the seats are very small with basically no leg room. My friends and I were squeezed next to each other so tight that it was awkward to even clap. I won't go to a show there again if I can help it.

    JINKX IS WONDERFUL

    by Susan on 8/15/23

This was a truly great show. Jinkx has a lovely voice, can do impressions, interacted with the audience and all in all a truly great show. The band was great, especially Major Scales!!! Can't wait to see her next shows here in Seattle: The Dela and Jinkx Christmas show and then next June, Jinkx and Major Scales at Seattle Reperatory Theater.

    Had its moments

    by Craig on 8/15/23

The humor and voice talent, as always with Jinkx, were divine. The rock songs weren’t my cup of tea. The program felt disjointed. I think Jinkx is experimenting and finding her way. I appreciate her efforts to destigmatize behavioral health. She’s a great talent and I look forward to decades of entertainment from her. (The Judy Garland number was a highlight). Now if only the she/her fans could avoid brawling and catcalling during the performance….

    Not an entertaining show

    by Danni on 8/15/23

Not what I expected, this show was very different from other shows. It was boring, no intermission, me and my friends left early because it was very boring. We expected a drag show and that was not a drag show. :(

Worth every penny spent! I had a blast, burst into laughter and I even cried because of how mesmerized I was with their talent. Loved the venue, loved the show and I had a blast.

    A night to remember

    by E. Lopez on 8/11/23

Jinx was SPECTACULAR!!! They are talented beyond measure. A true performer and entertainer. The message of acceptance and LGBTQIA rights they weave into the show with both humor and seriousness was beautiful and thoughtfully delivered. EVERYTHING AT STAKE is by far the best performance I’ve seen all year. Love you Jinx Monsoon😘

    Too long!

    by KBKB on 8/11/23

It was 30 minutes too long. Jinkx talked and talked nothing funny at the end. It seemed like it was just to fill time. She should have finished with a big song and ended it. People were falling asleep.

    Sound balance issues

    by AxelDogDad on 8/11/23

I’m prefacing this by saying that I love Jinkx, I’ve always loved Jinkx, and I always will love Jinkx. I thought some of the content of the show was a bit strange…especially the one song in the middle that happened while Jinkx was changing. The overarching issue was the sound level. When Jinkx was speaking, it was fine. Once the band started, she was drowned out. Since much of the music was original, I had no idea what she was saying/singing. We were sitting in Balcony row D for reference. I have seen other shows in this venue and do not recall having this issue. When my partner and I talked about the show after, we were both pretty “meh”.

    Jinkx’s Magical Performance

    by Michael F on 8/11/23

I have watched a number of Jinkx’s shows and this is one of the best she has ever done, if not thee best. So funny, so clever, so talented. Their performance left me so happy and so engaged for two hours. Jinkx captivated the audience and kept us entertained the whole time. The airport monologue was genius and kept me laughing the whole time. Thank you for another wonderful performance! ❤️

    Amazing from start to finish!!!

    by Sara T. on 8/11/23

Jinkx and their band are FABULOUS!!! They are an incredible all-around entertainer. They can sing, act, dance, land joke after joke, and look phenomenal doing it all. I have always wanted to see them live and they exceeded my expectations. My mom and I had so much fun and will definitely see them again if we get the chance.

    Bewitching Experience

    by Taly on 8/10/23

Jinkx was every bit the professional and exceptionally talented individual that I knew her to be! I enjoyed the VIP treatment and would’ve loved for the pre show Q&A to have been a bit longer but thoroughly enjoyed every moment we did have together. The show was magical! I enjoyed how in the moment everything seemed even though I am sure it came from much practice. Jinkx was hilarious and heartfelt. I enjoyed the message and all of the original music. Also, Major Scales was incredible and it was great seeing that bond in person! The live band was also phenomenal! I loved all of the costume changes too! And great venue! 10/10 I would absolutely buy tickets to see Jinkx again!

One of the BEST shows I have ever seen!

    by MM on 8/10/23

I had no idea what to expect, I just knew I love Jinkx for everything she is and will be. She is a true talent, and words can not describe really how much of a beautiful, amazing little weirdo she is in the best way possible. This show brought me through so many emotions - made me laugh out loud, made me feel connected while she opened up about mental health, and made me tear up out of sorrow for our political climate. See this show! I would watch this show several times if I could. I am so happy I was able to see her show, she is a delight and brings so much joy to anyone who is lucky enough to see her perform.

    Great show!

    by cdcdetatllax on 8/10/23

I was expecting more comedy, but this was still a very fun show where Jinkx's many talents are on full display.
