About

In less than 12 years, four-piece progressive groove metal wrecking machine JINJER has taken the world by storm, emerging as one of the biggest burgeoning names within heavy metal and a rags-to-renown success story. Hailing from the war-torn province of Donetsk, Ukraine, the musical oddity has excelled against all odds since fleeing in 2014, never ceasing to push forward in an ever-changing musical landscape. Officially marking the start of the band with awe-inspiring vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk joining in 2010, the band launched with cult-embraced albums Inhale, Don't Breathe and Cloud Factory, before skyrocketing to fame and viral acclaim with the game-changing single and video for "Pisces" from 2016's breakout King Of Everything - which maintains its status as one of the most reacted-to metal videos on YouTube to this day. With their anticipated 2019 follow-up Micro and its groundbreaking successor MacroJINJER climbed further - achieving massive benchmarks in international touring, charting, streaming and media recognition, while snatching radio #1's at NACC and SiriusXM's Devil's Dozen in the US. After releasing their first live album Alive In Melbourne a year later (filmed just days before the pandemic hit in March 2020), JINJER triumphed again with their most personal offering yet, 2021's Wallflowers. Boasting 20 international magazine covers, countless sold-out international tour dates and multi-millions of cross-platform streams on first singles "Vortex" and "Mediator" within just weeks, the album landed at #1 on both the US Billboard Top New Artist Album chart and Canada's Hard Music album chart, #2 on the US Hard Music album chart, and within the Top 10 in several additional countries. Wallflowers is a sonic pressure cooker of technical musicianship and emotional fury, and JINJER promises to bring this energy and more to the stage upon their return to North America in 2022.

    Best concert experience

by Huskrow on 9/28/23Knitting Factory - Spokane - Spokane

I know it sounds cheesy, but everything went extremely well. Both Monuments and Jinjer had satisfying sets both in terms of length and set lists. Sound crew made sure everything was balanced perfectly sonically. Both bands are also terrific visual spectacles and infected us all with pure hype. I also had the opportunity to meet, take a derpy picture with, and personally thank the members of Monuments for their music and that night's performance. Merch aside, this was all for 30 something bucks. Would absolutely do it all over again.

Popped my Knitting Factory cherry. Best experience I've ever had. Jinjer went way beyond what I could imagine. Monuments can headline whenever they want. Walked out completely satisfied.

    Absolutely did not disappoint!!!

by Wallypro on 9/18/23The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

First try to see this show was crushed by COVID just days before it was scheduled. The almost 3 year wait was worth it. Tatiana and the boys were amazing and I have never seen more energy from a front person! I can honestly say she compares to Freddie M, and I have seen him live.. For a small venue, the sound was great and the crowd was there to honor the queen. I could have stayed all night if they had offered to keep going. Please bring them back soon. I will be waiting!!!

Monuments brought us up, Jinjer smashed us to the floor

by Poser 123 on 9/18/23The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

I never knew Monuments before tonight and what a commanding presence they had over the crowd. I became an instant fan, bought 3 of their albums the next day only because I couldn’t find the 4 th. Jinjer slayed as well. They are amazing live and they played their songs as close to their album sounded. They too commanded the audience. Usually I could pick out a clear better band from pst concerts, but tonight they both destroyed it. What an amazing experience.

    Jinjer Killed It!

by Uncle Mike on 9/18/23Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center (HMAC) Capitol Room - Harrisburg

First time seeing Jinjer up close in a small venue and they blew me away. The whole band was awesome, but Tatiana's intensity is on another level. Will definitely be seeing them at this venue again next year.

Highly technical metal with a touch of modernity!

by Benjamin Johnson on 9/16/23Théâtre Capitole - Québec

Awesome performance! Every single musician in this band has remarkable talent and Tatiana out performs most male growling singers out there while truly honouring her femininity.

Jinjer is by far the best live show I've ever been to. The energy is off the charts. I will see them anytime they're within driving distance!

    Jinjer Kills

by MovingZen on 9/13/23House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle Beach

Show was great and it's actually a really great venue. Only issues I had were that I couldn't bring a small point and shoot camera into the venue even though the rules are stated no professional equipment. The venue blamed it on Live Nation, saying they don't allow anything but cellphones. I had to pay to check a camera that fits in the palm of my hand. This is the first time any venue stopped me from brining this camera in to the show. Also, I upgraded to a rail seat and my view was partially blocked by a support column. Otherwise the service was great and the show was incredible. This show was at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach SC.

    Another fun show

by Da Ref on 9/12/23House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle Beach

Ever since finding this band early last year, Jinjer has become my favorite band. While Tatiana’s vocals are the first thing new fans will notice, you can’t overlook the musicianship of Roman, Eugene, and Vlad. This was my 3rd time seeing them live and I still have a smile on my face from it. With that said, if I have one complaint and I think it’s just bad luck, minus one or two songs, the set list was pretty much what I saw in Charlotte back in December. Like I implied, it may just be bad luck. It won’t deter me from seeing them again the next time they’re in either North Carolina, South Carolina, or even Georgia. If anything, it’ll make me want to see them again.

    Jinjer was amazing!

by Angie Kahney on 9/12/23House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle Beach

Both bands (Monuments and Jinjer) were fantastic! It was one of our favorite shows of the entire summer. We were supposed to see Jinjer with Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin in Raleigh, but the show was stormed out. So we were stoked to get to see Jinjer at HOB. Everything about this show was perfection. The set list, the sound quality, the light show was phenomenal, and the energy was amazing! I love how quickly that Monuments stopped everything to check on a fan in the mosh pit. And the security for Jinjer was incredible at maintaining safety and fun when fans were crowd surfing. This venue is always so nice and clean and cool. You can see really well here also. They get everyone in quickly and efficiently. The whole process is an easy one. And even leaving the venue from parking flows easily. It's without a doubt one of our favorite venues and this show was the best! Keep bringing punk, rock, reggae and metal shows to HOB and we will keep coming down to check them out.

    Jinger-House of Blues

by Andy on 9/11/23House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle Beach

We ordered our tickets in advance. Day of the show we arrived at 5 and were told the event time was moved to 7 instead of 6. No problem we went to the restaurant bar and hung out till 6:30 when we got in line for the show. The staff at House of Blues did a great job with taking care of everyone in line water stations , wrist bands . Security was good. We got in venue by 7:15. Show kicked off within an hour. Both bands were great. Very happy experience all around. Thanks!
