About

In less than 12 years, four-piece progressive groove metal wrecking machine JINJER has taken the world by storm, emerging as one of the biggest burgeoning names within heavy metal and a rags-to-renown success story. Hailing from the war-torn province of Donetsk, Ukraine, the musical oddity has excelled against all odds since fleeing in 2014, never ceasing to push forward in an ever-changing musical landscape. Officially marking the start of the band with awe-inspiring vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk joining in 2010, the band launched with cult-embraced albums Inhale, Don't Breathe and Cloud Factory, before skyrocketing to fame and viral acclaim with the game-changing single and video for "Pisces" from 2016's breakout King Of Everything - which maintains its status as one of the most reacted-to metal videos on YouTube to this day. With their anticipated 2019 follow-up Micro and its groundbreaking successor MacroJINJER climbed further - achieving massive benchmarks in international touring, charting, streaming and media recognition, while snatching radio #1's at NACC and SiriusXM's Devil's Dozen in the US. After releasing their first live album Alive In Melbourne a year later (filmed just days before the pandemic hit in March 2020), JINJER triumphed again with their most personal offering yet, 2021's Wallflowers. Boasting 20 international magazine covers, countless sold-out international tour dates and multi-millions of cross-platform streams on first singles "Vortex" and "Mediator" within just weeks, the album landed at #1 on both the US Billboard Top New Artist Album chart and Canada's Hard Music album chart, #2 on the US Hard Music album chart, and within the Top 10 in several additional countries. Wallflowers is a sonic pressure cooker of technical musicianship and emotional fury, and JINJER promises to bring this energy and more to the stage upon their return to North America in 2022.

Jinjer was absolutely phenomenal. They sound even more amazing in person. The best live performance I've seen by any band. I would highly recommend checking this band out if you've never heard their music and definitely go see them live. Had an awesome experience!

    JINJER!

by Bllpt13 on 10/5/19Gramercy Theatre - New York

Incredible show in a great venue. The opening acts were really good. Jinjer was one of the best shows I've ever seen, and I've seen a most of the greatest heavy metal - hard rock bands.

    VIP a huge disappointment

by JamminB on 10/2/19Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

Another artist who has decided to exploit their fans & reward their support by treating them like walking ATMs. Almost $100 to be hustled through a cattle chute for a 3-second "meet" & a picture. I'll continue to buy the music & show tickets but fool me once on being a "VIP" (NOT)!

    Such an amazing show

by Ben A. on 10/2/19Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

This was my first time seeing Jinjer and my first time at the Baltimore Soundstage. Both were absolutely fantastic. The venue is really nicely setup, clean, and the staff were all great. All of the bands were great, and Jinjer specifically were out of this world amazing. The band was tight and on point, stage presence was great, and Tatiana sounded absolutely amazing live and in her element. Will not hesitate to catch these guys live again. Thanks for an amazing night!

    Fantastic Jinjer Show

    by stotten70 on 10/2/19Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

This show ranks as one of my top shows of the year! Jinjer was FANTASTIC, as expected. I was genuinely surprised by how good Sumo Cyco was; would love to see them again! I don’t remember the hometown band’s name, but they get much respect for starting the show off right. I didn’t care for The Browning too much. I’ve been to Baltimore Soundstage several times and will continue to come back. It’s a great venue for live music!!

    Air Conditioning!!

    by G.M. on 10/1/19The Masquerade - Hell - Atlanta

I was with my boyfriend at the Jinjer/The Browning show. It was awesome EXCEPT for the air! It was blazing, sticky sweaty hot and neither of us moved around very much. We were on the balcony above the mosh pit. I fanned myself the ENTIRE time with my China fan. You guys did a great job of catching the morons who were smoking inside, but they kept doing it which was bad for my boyfriend's lungs as he is asthmatic. Made the stifling heat worse too. That's more inconsideration on their part, but having better air conditioning would be fantastic! I mean, I just went to the Lacey Sturm concert in Purgatory yesterday, and SHE was burning up. Might be something to consider. :)

    Don’t miss this line up!

by Fat Daddy Sambo on 9/30/19The Masquerade - Hell - Atlanta

Jinjer was great, but the night started with an amazing set but Toronto rockers Sumo Cyco. I was new to their brand mayhem, but lead singer Skye Sweetnam quickly won over the crowd with her vocals and fun style. Thor Corke’s bass presence was felt for the entire set and guitarist Matt Drake was a great foil for Skye. Drummer Matt Trozzi was solid and he and Corke laid a great foundation for the set. The Browning followed Sumo Cyco. I have to say their set is one of my top five all time live performances. I hated-HATED- their studio albums prior to seeing them live. They infuse so much energy into their material during a live set, that it completely changed my opinion and turned me into a fan. Jinjer was great. It’s hard to say more. Tatiana is an amazing front woman and the fact she can sing like an angel and growl like a demon left me in awe for much of the night. The setlist was filled with faces: Pisces, Teacher Teacher, Apes, etc. But the magic was how they built further on the energy expended by the first two acts and increased the crowd festivities to a mosh pit that one point seemed to engulf everyone but the band. If you get the chance, definitely catch this line up!
