Great event, great game. Would be event better if can give a guide of fans session.
2 good games; lots of excitement. Look forward to seeing Jimmy V in 2020.
This is always a great event - top college basketball teams at Madison Square Garden. But the best part is the tribute to Jimmy Valvano, his life, impact on the game and cancer research.
Gonzaga is a typical soft left coast team. In no way where they ready for what Villanova gave them defensively. Converesely the zags are awful defensively and if Nova doesn't miss a ton at the rim and shoot poorly at the stripe they would have scored 100 and won by 30. Gonzaga was never a threat after the initial tip. They should stick to their weak conference, Villanova is a national title contender with 2 POY candidates
The Garden was electric. About a 50-50 split of each team’s fan base in the crowd, these old Big East rivalry games are always awesome!
Great cause . Love a college basketball tournament
Was excited for 20th row until a 6'6 guy sat in front of me ... floor seating is not stadium style so if your short don't sit court side u won't be able to see anything .. the ticket guy found my friends and I different seats a section away only 2 rows behind us that allowed me to see the entire game I paid for .. however I spent $35 extra a ticket to not see
We saw 4 teams with great athleticism. Good seats.
The event was historic. The games were great and the seating was cool. Thanks NCAA & MSG!
Great match-ups, great cause, great venue. Very smoothly run event.
Of course I enjoyed it more because my MD team won, but reasonably priced tickets, good seats, competent staff, well organized, even if UConn fans were a bit obnoxious (before game even started!). Nothing to be ashamed of, not sure ANY team could beat MD when they are playing on all cylinders.
Great game that was hurt by bad officiating. Terrible touch fouls. The Jalen Adams foul was atrocious. Terrible. And I am not a UConn fan.
Our seats were great and for a great price. We went for the Maryland/UConn game only. When we got a UVA fan was in one of our seats, but the quickly moved over and said people had been moving around the game before, which I totally understand as most people probably go mainly for one game and not both.
The two games itself were excellent. You had 4 of the top teams in the NCAA playing. The biggest problem was from the seats you could not see the other basket. You also could not see the score board either to see how much time and/or the score.
Wonderful to have four top teams in one event. MD, WV, UVA are ranked with UConn just placed just outside the Top 25!
This was my first time visiting this historic venue. It was a wonderful experience.
Great atmosphere for games in the most famous basketball venue on the planet! Crowd was awesome. Go Wildcats...NovaNation!
Heartbreaking as a Pitt alumni to watch two FTs go missed i nthe final second to lose and then to see my bestfriend's alma mater lose to Florida. If I knew this and the snow event I wouldn't have spent 3 1/2 hours through disgusting slow traffic in snow to get to MSG but since we never know, I'll keep coming back if the price is reasonable!!
Great event! Excellent game, highly recommended AAA+++!!!Thanks
Both NCAA basketball games were exciting. The games ended in close scores.
