It's fun to make fun of people, and comedians have made a pretty nice living doing so for a few centuries now. But the Late Night host prefers a different game entirely: Jimmy Fallon celebrates pop culture and all its personalities, taking pleasure in their eccentricities where others might tear them down for quick giggle. The resulting softer-yet-still-edgy approach has brought a new order to the world of late night, leading the baby-faced wonder to the Tonight Show chair once occupied by Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, and Jay Leno. Now he has set about changing the comedy tour game too by among other things, extending his coattails. At his concert shows, ticket buyers can expect a raft of up-and-coming comedians cut from a similar cloth opening for the well-mannered former SNLer.
While Fallon first gained renown for his impressions (his Mick Jagger is every bit as sharp as his Jerry Seinfeld), it was the New York native's fortuitous discovery of the guitar at age 14 that has lead him to make his biggest mark in comedy. As a musical comedian, Fallon has few peers outside of perhaps Adam Sandler, who he impersonated at his original Saturday Night Live audition in 1998. Anyone who has seen Fallon performing the history of hip hop with frequent collaborator Justin Timberlake, or playing the latest hits with house band The Roots on instruments that belong in a preschool, knows that this is a comedian who has a rock star's knack for bringing it most when the lights are hottest.
We were disappointed that it was not Jimmy Fallon but other comdeians, that were ok, not great, poeple you could have seen at the Comedy works for much less money. I guess we mis-understood the night since we did not realize we were not going to get to see much from Jimmy Fallon.
Fallon was as crazy and funny as he is on his late night TV show! His special guests each had their own spin on comedy which kept me on the edge of my seat. Every comedy bit was a unique joke with an unsuspecting ending. Great show!
The show was so good. Jimmy was the best. My cheeks still hurt from s,idling so much.
All of the comedians were great! I haven't laughed so much in a long time!

Caesar, Benny, Hope, Skelton, Dangerfield, Leno and one of the very best of all times CARSON could bring this level of crazy comedy, delivered without exploding "F BOMBS" every other word, and with timing, passion, with and heart. Jimmy Fallon now steps into those ranks. Welcome to the club my friend! Thanks for a wonderful show with a great team of comedians. I am so happy for you that the torch has been passed to you, "Break a leg" in February. You desire the shot, and you will do great!
The Jimmy Fallon and friends show was so fun. My whole face hurt from laughing so much! I could have sat there all night:)
All the comedians were new to me. They had me and the entire audience in stitches with laughter.
They all had me laughing. My personal favorite was Nate Bargatze. My face hurt from laughing so much. I actually thought the other comics upstaged Jimmy. I still love Jimmy and he was entertaining. Bottom line is definitely go see this show.
Was hoping that we were going to see Jimmy Fallon . His stand ups were good not great!, Too much of them and very little Jimmy Fallon.
All of the comedians in this line up delivered some major laughs! I was unfamiliar with Nick Thun, Nick Bargatze and Julian McCollough, but they quickly became some of my favorites. They kept the show upbeat, very entertaining, and most importantly, clean cut (except for a few cuss words from Nick). I drove all the way from Houston to see Jimmy and he was amazing, as expected. I wish his set was a little longer, of course, but I was just excited that he had this short set of shows to do stand up again.
Perfect evening of comedy. Loved Jimmy's entourage of comedians!

I have been to Tampa Theatee many times and yet it is still amazing to me. The show was great.
Who Doesn't love a good laugh?? Jimmy Fallon brought his best and kept us entertained and laughing the whole evening. The worst part was it coming to an end. The Tampa theater was a perfect venue for an intimate setting cause when your with Jimmy Fallon your family!
He had 5 other comedians. He was in stage for only 30 minutes... Disappointed.
