  • good show

    by Sph0703 on 12/5/17The Wellmont Theater - MontclairRating: 4 out of 5

Nice place, great show but overpriced beers. $11 for a 16oz miller light is a joke. We were there earlier in the day for the weird nj strange exchance and the same beers were $5. Drink before you go!

Our seats were great at the Wellmont and the opener was amusing, but Jim Norton was incredibly disappointing for me. He went for low hanging fruit jokes by making fun of people with disabilities and, despite previous statements to the media, unnecessarily defending Louis CK's actions as "not that bad" (while conveniently omitting references to some of the accusers' more egregious claims against CK) for a good portion of the act. I felt incredibly uncomfortable when he did a pointed attack against someone who indicated that she had been sexually assaulted. I love to laugh and appreciate thought-provoking humor. However, this show was not thoughtful. While parts of the set were genuinely amusing and/ or provided an interesting (although not necessarily my)perspective, much of it reeked of an inability to empathize with people different than Jim Norton's self. I would not see him again.

Jim Norton is hilarious! My jaw hurt from laughing by the time it was over. The things he says are things I wouldn't even think of, so vulgar and fantastic!

  • Good ol' Jim

by Semmy on 11/27/17Herbst Theatre - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Jim Norton is definitely for the discerning comedy fan! Anyone who buys a ticket to see him probably knows what they're in for. Not for the faint of heart or professional pearl clutcher. I've seen him live a couple of times now and glad I have. It was my first time at the Herbst. Had a fun time all around.

  • Jim Norton - "Kneeling room only"

by Anonymous on 11/20/17Egyptian Room at Old National Centre - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Jim Norton is pure genius. Absolutely loved his style and his content. He is crude, and that's what I loved about him. He says what people think, but won't say. Jim is at the top of his game.

This was hands down the best comedy show I've attended live! Make sure to spring for the VIP "Meet & Greet" to make the night even more memorable!

Saw him a long time ago when he opened for Andrew Dice Clay, that show was crazy funny. It's hard to open for Dice and Jim held his own. This show was great, would see him again!!!

Jim Norton delivered exactly what his fans have come to expect: great, family-friendly entertainment for kids of all ages. His cheeky humah, combined with hilarious, yet harmless characters such as Chip Chipperson and Uncle Paul, endeavor to bring the audience into a world of magical wonderment. Jim Norton is the Thomas Kincaid of comedy. Bless you young man.

Jim was awesome. I have listened to him for years on SiriusXM but this was our first time seeing him on stage. He did not disappoint; flawless. The opener, Kelsey Cook, was awesome as well. Great show! Fantastic opener and a phenomenal head liner. Come back to Seattle soon!
