About

Jim Jefferies on Tour

Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences across the globe with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking comedy. He was recently named one of the top 5 touring comedians in the world.

After receiving rave reviews for his 2018 international stand up tour, The Unusual Punishment Tour, Jim is back on the road with an entirely new routine for his The Night Talker Tour, with his international leg kicking off this November 2019. Additionally, Jim was recently honored as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival this summer. Jim is working with NBC on a multi-camera pilot which he would star in from writer-producer Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's Hazy Mills and Universal TV.

Most recently signed a first look deal with Comedy Central for content development in television and digital media. Additionally, Jim's eponymous Comedy Central series, THE JIM JEFFERIES SHOW debuted its third season on March 19, 2019 at 10:30pm ET / PT. As a strong voice in late night, the weekly series features Jim traveling across the globe to tackle the top news stories and controversial issues of the day. In addition to the series, Jim also continues to head up the weekly podcast series, ‘The Jim Jefferies Show Podcast', co-hosted by Forrest Shaw. The podcast, from Comedy Central's Podcast Network includes interviews and discussions with a variety of guests discussing current news and politics, as well as providing a more in-depth focus on the topics and opinions featured on the television series - with less filters.

In 2018, Jim starred in his third Netflix comedy special JIM JEFFERIES: THIS IS ME NOW. Performing at the Eventim Apollo in London, he unapologetically kept it real opening up the challenges of being a single father, as well as the weirdest gig he ever played. In 2017, he released his fifth major stand up special in seven years, FREEDUMB. The special was Jim's second to air on Netflix, and followed the huge success of the first, JIM JEFFERIES: BARE, in which he delivered a now iconic routine on guns and gun control in the United States.

In addition, Jim created, wrote, produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed FX series LEGIT, which ran for two seasons and has since gained a cult following. He has also appeared in the films KILLING HASSELHOFF and PUNCHING HENRY.

Jim currently lives in Los Angeles.

supremely funny guy, but uninspired show this time

by begbie on 6/20/10Trocadero - Philadelphia

I love Jim's stand up and have seen him before. This time he was too drunk to give a coherent show. Instead it was a rehash of stuff he's performed before (including once in Philly already), and a lot of meandering. It's a shame, but he should lay off the Grey Goose and stick to sipping pints throughout the show. He was a mess.

    Hilarious!!!!

Jim Jefferies is one of the funniest guys I have ever seen. His vulgar and clever improv was the best part of the show. Truly a comical genius! Would love to see him perform again. Highly recommended <3

Jim was great - hated the venue

by sandydlc on 2/1/10Showbox at the Market - Seattle

I've seen some of Jim's work on video - his HBO special and a few other clips so I knew what to expect. He delivered and then some. His comedy is raw and nobody is safe...he makes fun of every group, religious, political, etc, so as long as you don't have a chip on your shoulder, you'll have a great time. The Showbox doesn't have much extra space to hang out in the bar area. I've also decided that there are no gentlemen left in the world. While my friends and I were standing from the moment the doors were open, through the opening acts and throughout Jim's performance, there was a group of 8 big guys, all claiming their barstools and never bothering to ask if any of the many ladies behind them might enjoy sitting for awhile. I'm not sure that I will return to this venue.

    Stick to the main event

by DraperThat on 1/31/10Showbox at the Market - Seattle

There's no doubt Jefferies is one of the most gifted contemporary comedians, granted he keeps his material fresh and his signature drunken on-stage delivery. He retains control over the audience despite cultural differences and the occasional ignorant heckler. I would prefer Showbox introduce the main event without the wannabe upstart comedian looking to break out. Maybe it helps if the warm-up is lackluster to say the least. Jim more than made up for it though, and I would go see this guy in Siberia.

The set was great, but the venue sucked!

by Olderandoverit on 1/30/10Showbox at the Market - Seattle

It's been a long time since I've seen a show at the Showbox, but my husband and I are both fans of Jim Jefferies and were very much looking forward to seeing him. However, the crowd at the showbox was so obnoxious we missed most of his set due to many in the audience talking OVER him. What I heard was great, and Jim clearly is great at improv too since he couldn't complete his set due to the lame douchebag crowd. This will be the last show I see at the Showbox. I hope Jim comes back to the area, but hopefully next time to the Paramount or the Moore or really any eastside venue where there aren't so many pretentious wannabes.

Great show, love Jim, just too bad the audio level was so low at the Showbox. Missed a lot of subtleties due to that and the usual obnoxious idiots not paying attention chatting between themselves.

    Totally Amazing

Funniest thing I have ever seen! Only flaw was that it was an all ages show.

Opening acts were shit. Especially the second comic. Headliner was fabulous, but speaker placement made him hard to hear at times (we were seated on the left-side bar if you were facing the stage). Really appreciated the numbered coaster "system" for early arrivals in the adjoing bar space.

    Love, love, love this guy!

by Anonymous on 1/30/10Showbox at the Market - Seattle

Jim is amazing. I'm so glad he stayed for pictures afterward. The drunks at the bars were a little loud and needed to be be taken out. But he pushed through.

    Jim Jefferies - AWESOME!!!!

by TheShrink on 1/30/10Showbox at the Market - Seattle

JJ was in fine form and had the entire crowd rolling in the aisles, including the belligerently drunken horde in the "beer garden." Obscene, but this is obscenity at its very best.

Great show!!! Did all new material. Only after the crowd begged him to do old stuff did he.

    JJ ... another great show

by MJR3 on 1/24/10The Palladium Ballroom - Dallas

Seond time to see JJ in the past 6 months. This time around, much more audience interaction. Majority of the material is new, although he did take requests to re-do some of the HBO special favorites - religion and studs/sluts. Would recommend that anyone go see him, great comedian.

    Jim Jeffries as hilarious!!!

by chucklebuckle on 1/23/10The Palladium Ballroom - Dallas

I listen to Jim when he is on the Opie and Anthony show XM202. This guy killed when he was in Dallas! I would definitely go back to Jim's show if he were to come back to the area.
