Jim Jefferies on Tour
Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences across the globe with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking comedy. He was recently named one of the top 5 touring comedians in the world.
After receiving rave reviews for his 2018 international stand up tour, The Unusual Punishment Tour, Jim is back on the road with an entirely new routine for his The Night Talker Tour, with his international leg kicking off this November 2019. Additionally, Jim was recently honored as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival this summer. Jim is working with NBC on a multi-camera pilot which he would star in from writer-producer Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's Hazy Mills and Universal TV.
Most recently signed a first look deal with Comedy Central for content development in television and digital media. Additionally, Jim's eponymous Comedy Central series, THE JIM JEFFERIES SHOW debuted its third season on March 19, 2019 at 10:30pm ET / PT. As a strong voice in late night, the weekly series features Jim traveling across the globe to tackle the top news stories and controversial issues of the day. In addition to the series, Jim also continues to head up the weekly podcast series, ‘The Jim Jefferies Show Podcast', co-hosted by Forrest Shaw. The podcast, from Comedy Central's Podcast Network includes interviews and discussions with a variety of guests discussing current news and politics, as well as providing a more in-depth focus on the topics and opinions featured on the television series - with less filters.
In 2018, Jim starred in his third Netflix comedy special JIM JEFFERIES: THIS IS ME NOW. Performing at the Eventim Apollo in London, he unapologetically kept it real opening up the challenges of being a single father, as well as the weirdest gig he ever played. In 2017, he released his fifth major stand up special in seven years, FREEDUMB. The special was Jim's second to air on Netflix, and followed the huge success of the first, JIM JEFFERIES: BARE, in which he delivered a now iconic routine on guns and gun control in the United States.
In addition, Jim created, wrote, produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed FX series LEGIT, which ran for two seasons and has since gained a cult following. He has also appeared in the films KILLING HASSELHOFF and PUNCHING HENRY.
Jim currently lives in Los Angeles.
He’s a great comedian, it was great show. He does get a little left sided in his act, but it isn’t so bad. He’ll throw jokes both ways.
Show was amazingly funny !!!! felt like it was "Just Jim"on stage being himself.. Weird as it was just Jim on Stage...LOL...Classic JJ !!! Go SEE HIM IF YOU ARE READING THIS. Didn't realize I purchased the VIP ticket so we were able to meet him in the VIP room upstairs at the Paramount. He interacted so genuinely with each person he met. So funny and very cool !!!! Can't wait to see him again. Cheers Mate.
Did not disappoint. Jim is unbelievably funny and keep me in tears for the entire show.
Jim Jeffries was stellar from start to end. It was exactly the Jim I have been watching for years and loved every minute of his set. The Paramount on the other hand isn’t always great with the audio. This is my 3rd stand up show there and each one I’ve struggled to hear the comedian at times and wish they would make it louder or add more speakers for spoken shows like this.
We laughed for 2 hours. Jim Jefferies is hilarious! Can’t wait for his new special to come out!
Except for maybe “Bare” on Netflix, the funniest I’ve ever seen him. Add into that, two hours long! Unheard of for comedians. Overall.. almost outstanding. The seats in Paramount Theatre in Denver suck!!
Jim Jefferies is flipping hysterical! We went as a group of six people, whom none but myself had heard him perform. We were all cackling from start to finish and then proceeded to talk and laugh about it for days after remembering pieces of his bit. Highly recommend if you get a chance to see him.
Jim will bravely approach any topic so be prepared! He takes all of humanity's flaws and uses his words to artfully display our weaknesses. If you don't know how to laugh at yourself, or like to look in the mirror on your worst day...well, you should definitely come to his show! It will be life changing. LOL Jim has covered a lot of on going worldwide political issues affecting the daily life of people and you quickly get the true sense of the intelligent and caring man he is under his bad boy facade. I've attended 2 shows within 11 months, and the content was different at each show and also different from Netfix shows. Jim's time on stage always goes by way too fast!
Two comedy legends! Jim was great with his stories and tangents while Jimmy was rapid-fire funny.
Jim was hilarious. Kept me laughing. Loved his performance and stories/tales of his experience in my hometown. (Kidney stones) Thank you Jim for making my birthday a barrel of laughter.
Loved Jim and Jimmy both. I loved they had very different styles. I liked the answering people's emails portion. I liked they both came out to finish the show. Great time
This man is absolutely hilarious. I near peed myself i was laughing so hard. I was in tears from the incredible amount of laughter coming out of me. This man alone was worth the price of the show. Classic comedy, didn't care who got offended and delivered an outstanding performance. If you have a chance to go see this man, don't think just go. Worth every pennu
The opening act (Amos) and Jim Jefferies were HILARIOUS! Jimmy Carr was awkward ... I know this is personal preference - but a large swatch of the audience appeared to react similarly ... Jefferies should have been the closer. Also - taking almost an hour to 'fix the HVAC' and delaying the show's start was extremely negligent and disrespectful to the thousands of parents who had sitters covering.
The two of them together was incredible. I was laughing for the full 3 hours they performed. The opener was great as well. So happy I was able to see them.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into as my husband has been a fan of Jim Jefferies and Jimmy Carr for a while now. I always heard him talk about them. So when I saw that Jimmy Carr was coming with Jim I thought wow two great comedians in one show. So I decided I would buy my husband the tickets and I have to say I loved the show. I would definitely go back to see them again. I loved Jefferies story telling, we look forward to his next tour!!
Great night. Didn't stop laughing from the very beginning to the end. 3 hours of laughter. Can't beat that. Would definitely see them again.
The opening comedian and Jim Jefferies were awesome. Jimmy Carr was good also but the venue sucked! We saw them at the Meridian center, St Catharines. The line up to get in went all the way around the building. There were three entrances open and they opened the door is way too late! We were all freezing cold, waiting in line for doors to open and then the line moved incredibly slow as there were only two security stations at each entrance. We assumed they wouldn't start the show on time since they opened the doors so late but we were wrong and many of us didn't catch most of the first act, who by the way was fantastic!. Doors should have opened much sooner in order for everyone to have the opportunity to catch the full show.
I got last minute tickets so I didn’t have lots where to pick and ended up right by the walkway. I didn’t think it was going to be an issue but sound was awful. I could barely hear and understand what the comedians were saying
I was expecting inappropriate and crude buy it was next level offensive. There were issue with the venue not opening their doors on a timely basis and not enough resources downtown to handle the diners. Overall a very unpleasant evening
Jeffries and Carr were fantastic! Also, Amos (Australian), the opening act, was super fun. It was a great show and highly recommended. We look forward to seeing Jim in Rochester in May.
