You couldn’t ask for two more different bands yet the show as a whole made complete sense. CL Delirium were better than I imagined as I assumed there was more studio trickery involved in the overall sound but was pleasantly surprised that I was proven wrong. Once Jim James hit the stage it was pure rock n roll magic! I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a Tuesday night!!
Jim James solo stuff is genius. His lyrics are insightful and honest. His voice is virtually another instrument. The band was tight and Jim gave us his best, as always.
Jim James is not one for small talk with the audience, but I don’t mind. That just means more time spent rocking. The band played a seamless set, they sounded amazing. Everyone in the crowd was dancing and having fun. Jim has the voice of an angel. I can’t wait to see them again.
Delmar Hall is a sweet place to see a rock band and the sound system is very very good. I had already memorized all the songs he would play but I was not prepared for how much better it would be live. Sometimes you see a great band and the hall or the sound system or the hugeness of the hall make you want to go out to your car and listen to it there. Not this time: the experience was twice or three times the music alone. Definitely see this act in person. So worth it.
It was wonderful to see him stripped down His voice is powerful and overwhelming, in most heavenly way. He moved me..... I’m at a loss
Jim James voice filled the Sanctuary and melted your soul. The intimacy of the space and the acoustics were terrific. Jim played for well over an hour and forty five minutes. He did not disappoint.
Seeing Jim James solo was a special treat. The venue added to the uniqueness of the evening.
anything that includes Jim James on stage your bound to be amazed. Show was insane the venue is one of my favorites The Orphum. I will see this guy every time he comes through town

As a huge fan of My Morning Jacket, it's only natural that I would enjoy the front man's solo stuff as well. Jim James is such an amazing musician. Watching him perform is pretty mesmerizing. Couple that with the aesthetics of the beautiful Orpheum Theater and you have yourself an unforgettable experience!
Loved Jim James musicality, stage presence, musicians in the backing band, the sound in the Neptune. Everything was topnotch.

Jim James never disappoints. After seeing all sorts of shows at the Ryman, my one gripe with it is that often the crowds are sitting and slightly calmer than I would like. This was not one of those nights! Great atmosphere and crowd!
Jim James is a dream man. A musician master. The Ryman is the greatest venue in musical existance. You can't go wrong.
This was the best concert I have been to in my life...and I've seen a lot of indie/British acts. There was a personal touch to everything, and the music sounded more alive, and powerful, and intense than the recorded album. The band was beyond tight, and the performance was genuine and spectacle at the same time...totally amazing! The music on the album sounds more alive to me now...and I loved it before.
Best show I have been to in years. Have seen Jim before, with and without MMJ, but the quality and intimacy of this show was unparalleled.
I already new Jim James would be amazing, he is so extremely talented! But being someone who had never seen The Roots before - they were INCREDIBLE!
I really enjoyed this event. Not to take anything away from Jim James who was really good as well, but when the Roots came on - It was Awesome. The weather was not great at first but the sky cleared up and I did enjoy myself very much. My one complaint is that the Roots didn't close the show. I think most people - at least where I was standing - felt that way also. But for the time that they did perform I had absolutely no complaints. Looking forward to my next concert. Thank you Bandshell!
