Jim Florentine has become one of my all time favorite comedians because of his angry hard hitting style and killer punchlines. This was the first time I have seen him live and it was everything I hoped for and more. Check this guy out if you get a chance.

He spent more time worring about his mike level and concern about not insulting the audience than actually telling jokes. We know its a comedy routine if you have to explain that to people its not funny, its a lecture. Tom Kelly and Dan Kelly were great. They were entertaining and kept the show moving. With talent like theirs you would expect the headliner to do the same. Jim should stick to writing; I don't think he his meant for stand-up.

by DEBBUCK on 7/30/12Mohegan Sun Cabaret - UncasvilleI SAW THE JIM FLORENTINE SHOW ON 7/28/12. THE SHOW WAS VERY, VERY GOOD. ALL COMEDIANS WERE GREAT BUT MY FAVORITE WAS DANNY KELLY. THERE WERE 6 OF US IN OUR PARTY AT THE SHOW AND ALL HAD A GREAT TIME. ONE INCIDENT IN THE THEATRE COULD HAVE RUINED THE NIGHT BUT THANKS TO THE QUICK THINKING OF COMEDIAN DANNY KELLY, THE RUDE OBNOXIOUS PATRON WAS ASKED TO LEAVE THE ARENA BY SECURITY.

Tickets were very reasonable, especially for the venue. We were seated right in front of the stage at a table that sat all eight of us. A cocktail waitress came right to our table. Dinner service is the only thing that could make these shows more enjoyable...other than that, perfect!!
