    Great show

by Cherryrobot on 5/4/13Kimmel Center - Philadelphia

If you want to have a personal training session with Jillian Michaels, then this is not for you. Here's a hint: the secret to weight loss is to eat less and move more. Now, if you are still a huge fan of JM- go see her in person! She is so energetic & funny, she interacts with the audience and there were more than a few times that I laughed out loud! It was a little cheesy at times, it's just her and a glorified power point presentation-but if you are a huge fan of hers it's a really cool way to see her. I think I know everything about dieting, but I did get a few things out of it I never knew and have taken with me. If you know NOTHING about being healthy, then bring a paper and pencil bc she has a lot to say. Tips: get there early because it starts on time (you aren't seeing beyonce here, there won't be 3 openers and a fashionably late entrance.

    Her passion is infectious!!!

by Fast6 on 4/30/13Ferguson Center - Newport News

I've lived life asking myself questions as to why this and why that but never really wanted to confront it headon. Jillian thank you for teaching me that is ok to give that "responsibility sandwich" back to whom it belongs. I'm now seeking those answers which have held me back in life. You gave me permission to do so and not fear the consequences. I didn't know what to expect when i bought tickets but what I walked out with was a self made catalyst to Maximize My Life! Your the best

    Disappointing

by Maria12345 on 4/25/13Warner Theatre - Washington DC

I have been a huge Jillian fan for a long time now. I have all of her books and videos and have always admired her direct, no-frills attitude. I went to see her in DC last night ($65 per ticket) and let me say, I was really disappointed. The first half seemed to be like a high school nutrition 101 class. Really none of Jillian's usual "go get 'em" talks, just a bunch of eat this, eat that (which, by the way, I can gather from any book of hers) and move your body more. She peppers her conversation with a few f*** this and G-damn, which I don't mind at all, but there was no real spark, no "a ha" moments and definitely nothing life changing at all. I wanted so badly to leave there pumped up and energized and I left feeling like I wanted my $65 back. I'm sad to leave a review like this, especially since I really like Jillian and feel like she's more than capable of putting on a spectacular show - not a show like she's doing now.
