His voice is actually better in person, which is rare these days. The guys backing him were all on point. From time to time they would come down and dance with him. The only complaint I had was the 45 minute wait between the last opening act and him hitting the stage.

And, quite frankly, after hearing the entirety of The Chief substance does follow that style. Still, the entirety of The Chief is quite stylized as well, and full of energy. However, I was skeptical whether he was up to the task of making that powerful sound live. To my pleasant surprise, he was. From beginning to end, it was a joy to watch!
