About

With the release of Jesse McCartney’s new single “Better With You” — his first new music since his well-received 2014 album ‘In Technicolor’ — it’s worth noting that the  New York-born singer, songwriter, producer, and actor has had the kind of career that most young artists aspire to. With multiple platinum-selling tracks and a songwriting credit on Leona Lewis’s “Bleeding Love” under his belt, McCartney is ready to introduce his fans to who he is today.

His fans have been waiting almost four years since ‘In Technicolor,’ one of Spin Magazine’s Top Pop Albums of 2014. "It was a transitional time where I just let myself have some space from my career and get some perspective on life, something I really hadn’t had the freedom to do since I was 10. Then, a friend invited me to come to Nashville to do a songwriting camp for other artists,” McCartney recollects. “It triggered a huge surge in creative energy that led me to put this project and team together.” Now that he’s moving, McCartney has no intention of slowing down. He plans to release more music throughout 2018 and bring his dedicated fans along for the ride.

The deliberate attention McCartney pays to his craft is evident in the new songs he is gearing up to release this year, including “Better With You,” which he co-wrote with Brandyn Burnette, Molly Moore, and producer Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna). The acoustic-guitar-driven pop song is more sonically organic than the stylized, ’80s-inspired songs on In Technicolor and McCartney has re-vamped his visuals with art direction by Dewey Saunders (Anderson .Paak, Bridgit Mendler). “It feels fresh to me,” McCartney says. “This is a really strange time,” he says. “Things are contentious. I think a song about finding a safe place with a partner is an uplifting message.”

  • Jesse McCartney Buckhead Theater

The show was great! Jesse was super fun and lively to see, he definitely still knows how to work a crowd of girls. The venue was a bit small and cramped, but I think that is always a risk you take when you do a general admission show. The opening acts were good, Public was super lively and got the crowd excited. Nina was great too, she is vey talented, but her music was a little slow. I think it would have been better for her to come on before Public.

  • Such a great concert

  • JESSE IS BACK! EPIC CONCERT

by nngiggles on 4/9/18CFE Arena - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

I have loved Jesse's music since I was little. He came out with a bang and showed that no time has passed since his last big hit. Great voice, great dance moves, great atmosphere, EPIC show. This is one you won't want to miss. Wasn't a fan of the two opening bands but Jesse more than made up for it.

The first two acts were terrible they took way too long. A 3 hour concert is not what my friend and I planned for. I will not go to a show that involves college kids. Jesse was Amazing he never disappoints.

  • Jesse meet and greet

    by Keekee2012 on 4/8/18CFE Arena - OrlandoRating: 4 out of 5

The Jesse McCartney concert was great. I was very disappointed in the meet and greet. I paid $40 and we weren’t even allowed to take a photo on our camera. The photos are suppose to be posted online but it’s been 4 days and nothing has been posted yet. We didn’t get autographs and they didn’t give us anything pre autographed. I wish that it had all that info before I paid $40 to get a 2 second photo with no autograph or a photo on my camera.

  • Jesse McCartney was amazing!!

by Laciiiii on 4/8/18CFE Arena - OrlandoRating: 3 out of 5

Jesse was incredible!! The only thing I don’t like at all is that the pictures from the meet and greet are STILL not up yet. I Facebook messaged the people who were doing it and they said there’s “no official release date” ... so when will I get the pictures I paid money for??

  • All artists put on an amazing show‼️

by Samarina on 4/8/18CFE Arena - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first concert and it wasn’t to crowded. I’ve never heard of Coin or listened to any Jessie McCartney songs. I mainly went to see Gnash, butyl artists out on an amazing show and I would definitely see them in concert again!

  • Jesse McCartney is amazing...crowd was not.

by HUGEMACCAFAN on 4/21/17Emens Auditorium - MuncieRating: 5 out of 5

Jesse McCartney has an amazing voice. He also knows how to work a crowd and how to truly entertain. His vocals were top notch and he was amazing. However the college venue was not a good place to really hear him. Many groups of sorority girls came and many were rude and on their phones....etc...and screaming. I really wanted to hear Jesse sing. BUT JESSE was amazing. Looking forward to hearing his new music that he said he is going to be recording soon. Even the girl Jesse chose to go on stage got her phone out to take photos while he was singing to her and acted like Jesse was lucky to be with her. BUT JESSE handled it all well. HE is very gifted and hope to see him again at a venue not filled with college sorority girls...but with fans who truly appreciate his talent. Also security was not good at keeping the girls from filling the aisles..and we had great seats on the aisle. The girls were just rude. One even stepped on my daughter's autographed photo barging past us. And girls were standing in the aisle and they did not have seats near where they were standing.

  • Loved it

    by fuxiaopei77 on 4/21/17Emens Auditorium - MuncieRating: 4 out of 5

Great sound quality. Wish it was a little longer -- only a little over an hour. Reasonable price, of $30.

  • Jesse McCartney was a blast from the past!

I really liked his show, but I wish it would have been longer than an hour

  • Jesse McCartney is Unforgettable!!!

by Deesserts on 9/10/14House of Blues San Diego - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

The In Technicolor tour was amazing and cannot be missed if Jesse goes back on the road. The whole show flowed and everyone was full of energy.

  • Jesse McCartney Rocked the House!!

by BSBLuv on 9/8/14House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Jesse was absolutely amazing!! He put on a great show!! It was a crowded house, but everybody seemed to have a great time! He sang all his old hits, plus new songs from his new album. Great singer, great dancer, great entertainer!!

  • by tiffanyismyname on 9/8/14House of Blues San Diego - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

I had such a great time and the crowd was definitely amazing. Jesse was amazing. I would attend another concert at the house of blues again.

  • Jesse McCartney...AMAZING singer & performer

by waited7hours on 9/8/14House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

I knew I liked Jesse's music, didn't know what great performer he is, incredible artist!!

  • Only problem was how long he took to come out

by bdfitlife on 9/8/14House of Blues Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 4 out of 5

Loooove this venue!! It is so intimate! The front of the line pass was so worth it, and the drinks were reasonable. The only issue I had was how long he took to come out. Otherwise, fantastic!

  • Jesse McCartney never disappoints!!

  • Excellent Concert

by Loriann29 on 9/5/14House of Blues San Diego - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

The last time we saw Jesse McCartney was seven years ago. Of course we were looking forward to seeing him again. Last time is was a great concert. Well, this one was even better. He was amazing. He had great energy throughout the concert. He made so much eye contact with the audience. You could tell he was having fun up there. He is super cute and has an incredible voice. I actually liked some of the songs better in person than on the CD because he really rocked and put it all out there. We can't wait to see Jesse again!

  • Jesse McCartney was great, all else stunk!!

by Vetskik on 9/4/14House of Blues Sunset Strip - West HollywoodRating: 2 out of 5

We enjoyed Jesse McCartney and his dancers, back up singers and band. They were very entertaining. But, he really needs to have better opening acts! The first act (whose name I don't even know) were awful. When they harmonized, they were off and definitely not up to par. The second act "Guinevere" had potential, but she only had a drummer on stage and everything else was musically was on a track - even her voice! She literally sang with her track! Very unprofessional and NOT what you want to see at a love concert. That being said, I did see potential in her. We hated the service at the Crossroads restaurant in the House of Blues before the concert. They were unprepared, rude, and the service was extremely slow! We received an email telling us we could pass the line if we are there before the concert, yet it took asking 4 people about it before they would confirm it once we were there. Food was very mediocre too. We also really disliked having to stand for a concert for 4 1/2 hours! Our option was to "buy" a bar table for $100 extra plus the cost of drinks. Ugh.
