About

Jesse & Joy are a Grammy and Latin Grammy Award-winning pop duo. Formed in Mexico City in 2005, the brother-sister duo has released five studio albums featuring platinum-certified hits like “Llorar,” “¡Corre!” and “Espacio Sideral.” Their popularity on the Latin charts is often credited to their catchy acoustic melodies, heartfelt lyricism and emotional honesty, with the Latin Times calling them one of “the purest, most talented artists of our generation.” In 2017, the siblings gained mainstream attention by releasing their first bilingual album, Jesse & Joy, which showcases American influences such as Neil Young, Aretha Franklin and the Carpenters. Their critically-acclaimed fourth studio album Un Besito Más (2015) includes the hit song "Ecos de Amor,” which was featured in the popular telenovela Pasión y Poder. The album also won the Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album in 2017. Jesse & Joy have performed sold-out concerts worldwide, and have six Latin Grammys to their name.

    Unfortunate experience

    by Jai on 8/15/23

Was excited to see this band, got to the venue to realize it was standing only in my section which is fine, I’ve been to multiple concerts that are standing room only. But the concert was supposed to start at 7. The opener didn’t come on until almost 8:30pm. Frustrating but it is what it is. It’s not 9pm and a second opener comes on! By this time everyone around us is hot and restless. The main entertainment did not start until almost 9:30pm, two and a half hours late! Finally the show goes on, they start playing they make it through maybe 3-4 songs and they stop and bring out a bunch of people and begin talking for another 10-15 minutes. By this time we have waited almost 3 hours standing in a very hot and stuffy room to hear only 3 songs. We left soon after don’t even know when they started to play again but it was just very inconsiderate to have their fans waiting that long

    Performance was great

    by Pancho on 8/15/23

I love Jesse and Joy since the beginnings from 2005 m, she did great even when she was sick, however the place was extremely hot 🥵 and people started leaving outside and sound was not appropriately distributed to all the room. Besides that about the place everything was ok

Love the band, hate the venue

    by JA on 8/15/23

Overall, Jesse y Joy is amazing. Revolution Live (the venue) was horrible. Over crowded, hot (no AC where the actual show took place, the security was horrible and not informative and apathetic. Clearly they over sold the show. Everyone was like sardines which made it very hot. It was incredibly hot from the summer heat and how they couldn’t accommodate at least to have running AC is ridiculous. It was disappointing to wait 2 hours for them to come on. The opening act did her best, but people were getting restless from the heat and standing for so long waiting. We were able to see them and hear a few songs live. But after almost 3 hours on our feet and dying in the heat, we couldn’t stand it anymore and left early. We didn’t even hear our favorite songs. I would still see them live if they ever come back down to my area. But never at Revolution Live. That venue is pathetic.

    Main act a 5 star, venue a negative 5

    by Lucky on 8/15/23

Excited for my visit time seeing Jesse&Joy, was wondering with the crowd why they did not pick another venue. Well... here we go bday weekend. Soundck was fun, got to take pictures yay and then.... the mess The vip tickets didnt have an area closed off so once other concert goers arrived it was a push to get a good view. They sound equipment took the best views and then ..... the air conditioning did not work by the 3rd song of the opening act I had lost 10 pounds. The air did not flow until the mid songs of Jesse & Joy. People started complaining all around. So many around me got on IG, emails for some resolutions. Security was lost, allowed ppl to block bathroom stairs and other stairways. Did not know whom was in charge... overall a mess. Revolution Live, Ft Lauderdale needs to do some changes and have someone available for any issues that may arise.

Not the right Venue for this artist

    by Marianela on 8/15/23

The music, was wonderfull, but the Venue was terrible... I did not enjoy this show. The show started 2 hours later, the venue was crowded, the AC was not enough. Jessy y Joy it's not the group your going to listen jumping, in some songs, you definitely need to seat, and there were not seats available. Bad election in the Venue

    Love J&J. Horrible venue

    by Gustavo on 8/15/23

Jesse y Joy always deliver with great songs. The venue was terrible. Couldn’t hear much. The venue was so hot and even with 30 fans, the venue was extremely humid and hot.

    Lots of talent

    by Mj on 8/14/23

Hispanic living in Fl last 8 years , wanted too connect w/my culture. Forgot a bad habit we have: Concert intro artist started on time, theater was 3/4 empty , then the J & J musicians started tuning equipment and disappeared, show eventually started at 9:15pm. People kept walking around and getting drinks during the whole concert . Music and voice sounded high pitch or over modulated, never corrected. People were nicely dressed and loved the duo. The wait and bad sound as bad as was did not take away from the talent-great musicians and voice. Would go see again if issue resolved.

    Atlanta Loves You!

    by Luis on 8/11/23

I had a fun time at the Jesse & Joy concert in Atlanta. Throughout the show, the whole crowd would sing from beginning to end of each song. Constantly yell out "We love you!"to Jesse & Joy! Dance at the upbeat songs. Everyone was feeling the show with all the dancing and the beautiful lyrics to beautiful songs. I took a friend with me who wasn't too familiar with Jesse & Joy, and he left very happy to join and said he could really feel the songs hit him in his soul! I think it's safe to say he walked out a new fan of Jesse & Joy! Jesse & Joy love their fans, and it shows in their shows, and in response, the fans show them how much they love them back!

    Awesomeness

    by AF on 8/11/23

Jesse & Joy we're amazing! They sounded just like they do on the radio. They played all of their hits and the crowd sang every single song along with them. They spoke to the crowd and interacted with them, I had a great experience. Highly recommend

    Unadulterated music performance

    by Mari BonBon on 8/9/23

J&J performance is authentic without the need of side shows/elaborate costumes and I Loved it. They keep it all about the music. Their poetic heartache songs really soften you and transcend you to a different place all the while you are in a large performance hall surrounded by strangers. I couldn’t get enough of their songs… next day I listened to their songs all day while working!!
