Francisca Valenzuela on Tour

After almost 15 years in the spotlight, Francisca Valenzuela is back for another 18-city tour across three countries. The American-Chilean Latin pop singer's tour will cover the United States with shows in Mexico and Chile. This tour follows the release of her 2022 album Vida Tan Bonita via Sony Music. Her cheerful and idealistic sound resonates internationally and her performance exudes positivity and optimism to all that listen. Valenzuela started her career in 2006 with the release of her first unofficial single "Peces." After a few months, "Peces" began getting airtime on radio all across Chile. Riding the wave of her successful song, Valenzuela released another single, "Dulce," in December 2006. "Dulce" exploded in popularity across Chile making it to No. 2 on the national singles chart. The promotional video for "Dulce" also made it on MTV Latin America in early 2007. Striking a deal with the record label Feria Music, Valenzuela (with the help of producers Mauricio Durán and Francisco Durán of Los Bunkers) released her debut album, Muérdete la Lengua, in 2007, which included top 10 hit title track and top 30 hit "Afortunada." In 2011, Valenzuela released her second album Buen Soldado under the record label Popart Discos and Sony Music. Valenzuela then started her own record label in 2014, Frantastic Records, which was the label on which she released her third album Tajo Abierto. Her next album, La Fortaleza, was released in 2020 under Sony Music.

Francisca Valenzuela Live in Concert

Born and raised in San Francisco, Francisca Valenzuela showed an interest in the arts at a young age. But her incredible multi-talented career did not start with music, it started when the then-12-year-old published a book of poems in 2000 called Defenseless Waters. During her musical career, Valenzuela started modeling in 2012 for the Chilean clothing brand Foster, where she began designing clothes and released a collection inspired by 1960s mod fashion in 2013. An international hit, Valenzuela has performed in Spain, Chile, Mexico, the U.S., and Peru, to name a few. Her music can be heard across all mediums, including in the Chilean water conservation documentary H2O:Cero, for which she wrote a new song "En Blanco," as well as in the HBO Latin America documentary Encuentros en Brasil, for which she wrote and performed the song "Reina tropical de Brasil."
