This was truly the best Jersey boys musical that I have witnessed!!! I also like the additional headlines used throughout the play. All of the actors truly played heir role. Thanks!!!
Fantastic. I've been wanting to see Jersey Boys for so long and finally got the chance. One of the best shows I've seen.
This is my second time seeing this show. There were minor differences between this and the last time I saw it. Nothing major but I enjoyed it just as much the 2nd time. The story, narration and music are fantastic and it is fun all around. Great show. I would not bring younger children though, there is foul language and sexual innuendo. For the 18 and over crowd this show is blast. If you weren't a Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons fan before you go, you will be when you leave and yes their songs will be in your head for a few days. Enjoy this show for the limited time it's here.
I went in not knowing what to expect but the story and the music were put together so well, that it was impossible not to thoroughly enjoy every aspect of the performance. The songs which are all classics will remain running in your head for a long time after the show.
The performance was wonderful! However, the seats at the Bank of America Theater were not comfortable and were very narrow. I am a petite person - 5' 4" tall and 130 lbs and I was squished between the people on either side of me. I had to move back a few rows at intermission to sit where my arms weren't stuck to my sides. Also the location of our seats were directly behind the seats in front of us - instead of being in between. It was hard to see. We had to try to lean to the side to see around the people seated in front of us.
My husband and I went to the Thursday 2:00 show and we both thought it was the best thing we had ever seen. We would go again in a minute. Loved it.
This is the fourth time I've seen Jersey Boys and I enjoy it every time. The casts have mostly been different but it doesn't seem to matter. The talent is always great. Took my daughter and daughter in law this time (in their 20's) and they really liked it also. I didn't know if they would recognize the songs, but they did and they thought the music was really good. They didn't realize it was based on a real life story. A great show!
This is my 3rd time seeing Jersey Boys. First in 2008, then 2009 and now. It never disappoints. Such a wonderful story. The cast was super talented and the music is just unbelievable!
This show had a bit of everything...serious,drama,some laughs...Great Music..a all around great show
Before the show I did a search on Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons' songs. I was amazed at how many songs I knew and loved. The performers were fantastic and the show itself was incredible. Brilliantly scripted and performed. Now I know why my sister and her husband have seen it 3 times!
Such a great performance! This was our 2nd time seeing Jersey Boys, & honestly, I would go back to see it a 3rd time! It is such a fun show to watch & sing along with!
For those in their 50s and 60s, this is a return to junior high and high school. The music is great - and the energy on stage, as well as the story, kept even my 11 year old grandson delighted.
Even though I was born in the 60's I remember many of these songs and enjoyed our evening. We took my father-in-law and my wife said she can't remember seeing that kind of smile on her father's face in a long time. She commented on remembering singing and dancing with her mother in the kitchen to these songs. The story is sad at times and you feel for them; but at the same time you will be taken away by the great singing done by all. The singer playing Frankie Valli was tremendous!

This was the second time I have seen this show and I enjoyed it even more the second time.
It was everything that I thought it would be and more.
This show was amazing! The cast is different from the last time I saw it, and it still was shocking at how well it is put together. Jersey Boys is for everyone; theatre lovers and even NON theatre lovers! It has a little something in there for everyone. I recommend this show to EVERYONE! Amazing show, and I can't wait to go back again.
There are times when shows feel the need to overpower you with the sound and it ends up being too loud and hurting your ears. This was not the case with Jersey Boys, the sound level was perfect. I wish all sound technicians would do the same as this show did. I enjoyed the lighting design for this show as well. The colors used accented different moods. Joseph Leo Bwarie's (Frankie Valli) range was excellent and he did a great job with all of the songs.
Great story about the 4 seasons, set to great music from the past. Well done musical.
This is the second time I have seen JB's in Chicago and it has been fantastic both times. I would definitely recommend it to friends and relatives. A fulfilled musical night.
