  • Intimate evening with Jerrod

by LMY55 on 2/6/25Cobb's Comedy Club - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Cobb’s is a great venue. We had preferred tickets and sat about four rows back. Jerrod’s show was like sitting in someone’s living room, hanging out and listening to some great stories. Love Jerrod’s comedy style. Could have sat there for hours listening to him. Big fan and hope to see him again soon!

Interesting, smart, could have been a little more added to the show … tbh.

  • Good Night

This was a nice, intimate opportunity to witness a great thing in the making.

  • Chuckles and charm

by Sara Moon on 1/7/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I am a big fan of Jerrod and was so thrilled to be able to see him in Boston. He was onstage with a notebook and working on material so the flow of the show reflected that but I felt honored to have that experience. Lots of laughs, and vulnerability.

  • Can’t wait for the tour

    by J on 12/22/22Rating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely one of the best comedians. His build up of a story only to catch you unaware with a twist that has you both laughing and groaning is superb. Go!

  • Locked phones but the material wasn't worthy

by DL Bos on 6/7/22Rating: 2 out of 5

They locked everyone's phone and it gave the impression that we were in for a big night. I had seen Jerrod on SNL and was sure he would be great in person. The show was not great. He is a very likeable guy and we wanted him to be successful. There were just a few laughs along the way. He was sharing different stories about his life, but it lacked any type of aha moment or something the audience could grab on to which pulled it all together. Just seemed like a bunch of random thoughts. The tickets were relatively inexpensive but perhaps he needs to work on pulling the show together more. The biggest cheers came when he mentioned the Cetics.

  • Very bad indeed

by Plum on 6/6/22The Wilbur - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

A dreadful show! Jerrod was unprepared and used the stage to vent about his latest mental angst. If there were humorous or relatable insights that resulted from this that would be one thing. But his ramblings lacked any illumination. It was a tortuous hour. Yes, one hour. He ran out of material and cut the show early. Please grow up. I paid money to be entertained, not sit through a group therapy session to help you resolve your latest emotional problems.

  • Not what we expected

by Blackstaff on 6/6/22The Wilbur - BostonRating: 1 out of 5

After an amazing performance in Rothaniel, we expected something equally outstanding but instead were subject to incoherent whining and complaining.

  • Great Show!

by Juss on 3/3/22Rating: 5 out of 5

Jerrod exceeded my expectations. Though this was a bit more of a one man show than a traditional comedy set, it was as funny as it was entertaining. It’s ok to let an artists take their time while painting a picture and Jerrod did just that. I hope Jerrod takes all of what he shared with us and adds it to a special to share with the world.

  • Disappointed

by M. S. on 2/1/22Punch Line Comedy Club - San Francisco - San FranciscoRating: 1 out of 5

Very disappointed about this show. Was not a stand up comedy act. This was a serious conversation and story about Jerrod’s life. There were very few laughs involved in the story.
