Jeremy Piven On Tour
Jeremy Piven has played many roles and had many achievements in his four-decade career in entertainment. But when it comes to stand-up comedy, he wants audiences to know he's "all in." That's been the performer's attitude since he returned to the stages of clubs and theaters in 2018 with a high-energy, quick-witted act that's a testament to Piven's deep roots in the comedy world.
Long before Piven was cutting deals and berating assistants as Ari Gold on the HBO hit Entourage, he was cutting his teeth as a performer at Second City. Born into a theater family in Chicago, Piven developed his improv and sketch skills at the comedy institution before becoming a member of Second City's touring company. He got many more opportunities to show off his wit in breakout acting appearances, which included his recurring role opposite Garry Shandling on The Larry Sanders Show and stints on such iconic sitcoms as Seinfeld and Ellen. Along with turns in Hollywood hits like Old School and Very Bad Things, he gave some highly memorable onscreen support to his longtime friend John Cusack in films like Grosse Pointe Blank.
With the debut of Entourage in 2004, Piven became one of the most honored actors on television, scoring three Emmys and one Golden Globe for his performance as the hot-tempered Hollywood agent. Yet Piven still made time for live performances, including his first-ever appearance as a stand-up at Montreal's Just for Laughs festival in 2008. In 2017, he showed off his dramatic skills when he led the cast of the CBS drama Wisdom of the Crowd.
Piven's foray into stand-up was inspired by the excitement he felt while preparing for a charity show in Los Angeles co-hosted by Russell Peters. The Canadian comedy superstar was so impressed by the determination and intelligence that Piven showed in developing his material, Peters encouraged him to create an act that really demonstrated what he can do. Following his successful run of dates in clubs and theaters in the U.S. and Canada in 2018 - along with recent shows in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv - Piven returns for a new run of stand-up shows.

Expected evening to be a longer event for the cost. Piven was funny, but didn't tell enough stories about his life or why he became an actor.
Jeremy was funny, and I think he did a nice job on his comedy act. I purchased VIP tickets, and that included a Meet & Greet/Photo OP. I found that portion of the show to be awkward and uncomfortable. It seemed clear he was not into this part of the show at all. It was apparent he wished he could be anywhere but taking photos, and there was no GREET....we greeted him and thanked him for the show, when really we paid for a ticket, he should be thanking his fans for coming. The meet and greet was probably the most comical part, we had to laugh afterwards on how aloof he was. Regardless of that, if you liked Entourage, you would probably like the stand up portion of the act. Knowing what I know now, I would have done the show only, and not paid extra for the meet and greet. The nice thing was the meet and greet was reasonably priced, so seeing/meeting him did not break the bank.
We had a great time! The workers were helpful and assisted us to our seat and to VIP area.Jeremy Piven was awesome!
I had an amazing night and my cheeks were hurting the entire time from laughing so much. If you've never seen him and love him like I do, then make sure you check him out!
I saw Jeremy Piven on Saturday night, and loved it! He was full of energy, and the venue was nice and spacious. I don’t typically like going out in the rain, but the downpours could not stop me from seeing this show; I would definitely see him again if he came back to Philly.
