About

Born and bred on Chicago's South Side, R&B singer Jeremih taught himself how to play several instruments and didn't consider himself a vocalist until a warmly received performance at a talent show. At Chicago's Columbia College, he struck up a partnership with producer Mick Schultz, and the two closely collaborated on the material that would become Jeremih's debut album, released in June 2009 on Def Jam. "Birthday Sex," its first single, debuted on Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop Singles chart that March; by mid-May, it was already in the Top Ten, and it became the year's breakout bedroom ballad à la J. Holiday's "Bed." Jeremih, his self-titled album, produced entirely by Schultz, was released in late June 2009. At that point, "Birthday Sex" had crossed over to the Top Ten of the Billboard Hot 100. A year later, Jeremih issued his follow-up, All About You. Two of its songs, "Down on Me" and "I Like," reached the Top 30 of the R&B Hip Hop Singles chart. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi

  • The show was pretty good

by cmariaraleigh on 9/6/18Center Stage Theater - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

I'm not sure what took the show so long to start, but we stood outside for two hours and we were still outside well after the start time. Danileigh sang well, but because we were outside so long, I had to use the bathroom and get something to drink as soon as we found our seat so I only heard her from the lobby. Teyana's performance was really good, even though I hate that she has her daughter at her shows with no earphones and she's right by the speakers. Once Teyana performance was over, we waiting over an hour for Jeremih's team to get set-up with the speakers, mic checks, etc and I was getting really frustrated. Jeremih sang well although he isn't an enthusiast performer. Sounds good, moves the stage, but that's pretty much it. I liked that he surprised us with Wale and Jacquese. I enjoyed the concert pretty good. The venue itself didn't have any food or snacks, and the security guards made everyone leave their umbrellas in the lobby (and it was pouring that day so everyone had an umbrella). Well, of course after the concert was over with (after midnight) everyone's umbrella was dumped on the ground near the exit doors and someone stole mine. UGH.

  • Jeremih too notch

Great sound. Voice is exactly same as music. Dancers on point, too!

  • Jeremiah? Teyana Taylor stoke the show!!!

    by Breezy1996 on 8/10/18Center Stage Theater - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

This was Teyana Taylor’s show! No offense to Jeremiah but majority of the crowd came to see her and she KILLED IT!!!

  • Jeremih Flop

    by 404ATL on 8/10/18Center Stage Theater - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

Venue is fine - lots of standing room and seating for a GA venue. Teyana Taylor was great and most people were there to see her. However, I was seriously disappointed with Jeremih. He doesn’t give much of a performance, his dancers were meh, and his DJ did most of the work. He gave a 40 minute performance where the last two songs were plugs for his new single with Ty$. Worst performance I’ve been to all year.

  • Late Show

    by Keny31 on 8/10/18Center Stage Theater - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

The show was super late!!! They had the fans waiting outside in the rain with no explanation. If it wasn’t for Teyana I would have wanted my money back. Jerimiah lackdd stage presence and was overall lack luster. The bartenders can also use a lesson in customer service and making drinks. Other than that my night was enjoyable. Show appreciation for those who spent their hard earned money!!!

The seat I had at the table was perfect for a romantic date !! Wish I was next to the stage better . next time they should tell the Artist to interact with the seats more.

  • I'm a fan but was disappointed

by DjVoodoo on 10/26/16Braden Auditorium - NormalRating: 1 out of 5

I lIke his music but I'm going to be honest. He said he was on to road with no sleep. He didn't sing that much and just let the tracks play. He actually stopped singing during some songs. I know this was a small venue but that doesn't mean that we didn't deserve a good show. This was the 1st time I seen him in concert and probably will be the last time based on this performance. Not going to spend my money on a performer who thinks he shouldn't put on a good show when ever he thinks he doesn't have to. Not one shout out for Chicago either!

  • Jeremih concert was just okay.

    by Laurenp993 on 8/19/12Sokol Underground - OmahaRating: 3 out of 5

After listening to several nameless horrible rappers that were meant to just be the opening act, yet turned into the main act, we heard Jeremih perform. He was a very good performer and I enjoyed him but he sang for about 20 min. That's it. Then the concert was over.

  • 92.3 NOW; AGE BREAKER

by Nonce on 5/24/11Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

i just graduated college and heard this concert while listening to 92.3 on the radio. i LOVE all the singers and bands that were performing. since many of my friends just got back to town from being away at college, it would be a great night out in the city and catch up. however, i was a little disappointed. We got floor, standing room and it would have been perfectly fine!; if i knew that we were going to be surrounded by 15yr olds, smoking cigarettes and illegal substances while being drunk. I felt that security should have been watching more on the floor where these acts were happening. If i were to go another 92.3 NOW concert, i would DEFINTELY get seating up on the balcony. the only way i would get floor again if i knew it would be 21+ where people know how to act while at a concert. However, all the acts were amazing, and besides the age difference, it was a fantastic concert.

  • Another Amazing One Night Stand!

by Baconboyfryem on 5/22/11Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Wow, Just wow I had an amazing time. I went to the show last year as well, but this year definitely topped it. The act's were explosive, Meet and Greet's were nice, and the atmosphere was just party central. This really makes me not want to wait till next year for the next one!
