About

Jenny Lewis' fifth solo album, Joy'All, is out June 9th. Produced by Dave Cobb and recorded at the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville, Joy'All sees the highly anticipated return of one of the most compelling singer-songwriters of the 21st century embarking on a new era, in a new town--and on a new label, as she joins the iconic roster of Blue Note/Capitol Records. Heralded by the "strummy, beach bummy" (VULTURE) first single "Puppy and a Truck," and the subsequent "Psychos"- declared as "easily , one of Lewis' greatest creations" (PASTE)-Joy'All has already garnered a rapturous reception of critical acclaim: "four years on from her career-best On The Line, she's sounding better than ever." (PAPER). A culmination of Lewis' prolific 20+ year career, Joy'All follows her four previous solo albums --2019's On The Line, 2014's The Voyager , 2008's Acid Tongue  and her 2006 solo debut Rabbit Fur Coat--as well as her universally-loved work in Rilo Kiley and side projects Nice As Fuck, Jenny & Johnny, and The Postal Service. With no signs of slowing down for 2023, Jenny is ready to hit the road for an epic itinerary that includes both the upcoming 20th anniversary Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie co-headline tour as well as supporting dates for the Beck and Phoenix co-headline Summer Odyssey Tour, in addition to her own headlining dates in support of Joy'All.

Jenny was awesome. The crowd, not so much.

by CaptainCurfew on 11/17/14Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

Jenny was really good! Sound was amazing, but a lot of shush-ers in her crowd. Also not a lot of people moving around or anything. I guess if you like going to shows and watching the whole thing through your iphone this is the place for you. But if you're really excited to see jenny and feel compelled to dance, be prepared to inevitably piss everyone off around you. I would still go again, though!

    Jenny is a goddess

by Lucy4444 on 11/9/14The Space At Westbury - Westbury

Jenny's voice is angelic, her band is incredible, Megan and Natalie's voices make perfect harmony in the female only songs, she sang classic Rilo Kiley songs as well as almost every song from her new album and several of her solo songs. Extra bonus was that Johnny was there for a couple songs. She is better every time I see her. Don't miss on seeing her, ever!!

    Jenny Lewis was seriously amazing!

by aimesnyc on 11/9/14Terminal 5 - New York

I recently became a fan, and was so excited that she was coming to NYC for only $30. I was not disappointed. She was just awesome and I had the privilege of being right in front of the stage because I got there early. Such a great performer!

    Jenny was great!

by Anonymous on 11/8/14Terminal 5 - New York

JL nailed it, she sounded so amazing. It was a great set, as well, with a lot of the old Rilo Kiley/etc. stuff along with her new album, "The Voyager." The venue left something to be desired, but in theory, 3 levels is cool.

It was so awesome to see Jenny Lewis. I saw her 10 years ago with Rilo Kiley and this experience was just as amazing! She has a great voice, great energy, and is a joy to watch.

    The Voyager

by bBoxerfan on 10/7/14Southside Music Hall - Dallas

Drawing on her previous solo albums "Rabbit Fur Coat" and "Acid Tongue," former Rilo Kiley frontwoman Jenny Lewis played a show that was heavy on material from her new album, "The Voyager" while expertly mixing in titles form her discography, including her work in RK. Unlike many artists, some of the best moments were Lewis' new songs, which she has arranged nicely for a dynamic stage performance. "Head Underwater," "The New You," and "Late Bloomer" were excellent, Lewis' voice as amazingly pristine as her recorded sound. This was a great show, over too soon.

    Jenny Lewis

by Anonymous on 8/3/14Deluxe at Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Jenny Lewis was fabulous. She put on a fun show, was engaging with the audience and played a wonderful variety of music from throughout her prolific career. The opening act, Apache Relay, was also wonderful. I had not heard of them before, however, their live act made me want to listen to more. The camaraderie the two bands had was a plus for the show-they were a great complement to the other. I loved the small venue that made the show feel more personal.
