Jennifer Nettles music has been with us for so long, it is easy for ticket buyers to forget that she is only now starting her journey as a solo artist. For nearly a decade, Nettles has lent her alternately smoky, soulful and sassy voice to the country music duo Sugarland, and in the process netted two Grammys to go along with five Academy of Country Music Awards, and five #1 Country singles. During those years, Sugarland's music grew exponentially, with 2010's The Incredible Machine, an album filled with anthemic rockers meant to fill stadiums, expanding the very idea of what country music is and can be. Now, after the Georgia native took time away from her band's relentless tour schedule to become a mom, Nettles is spreading her wings as a solo act. For "That Girl," the first single of the forthcoming record, Nettles builds on the other woman persona that she adopted in the Sugarland hit "Stay," adding sultriness with the addition of Latin rhythms. With legendary producer Rick Rubin at the helm of the new project, it's safe to expect even more surprising platforms for Nettles's rich, emotional instrument both on record and in concert.

Jennifer's strong and pure voice magnified the Christmas songs. And her hits too! Great show.
Fantastic show at a beautiful venue. Jennifer always delivers a warm and heart felt performance.
Awesome show would see it again great voice puts on great show great sense of humor
I have seen Sugarland perform a bunch of times, saw Jennifer on Broadway when she was in Chicago and saw her last year on the Women of Country tour. I could honestly watch her perform live every day. She is a true performer and so happy she shares her gift with the world!
Jennifer Bettles has the best voice of the 21st century right there w Streisand. She was great. But for a Christmas show no trees and light? She didn’t even wear red or green or white? No costume changes? Not even a little glitz? That part was disappointing. But i could listen to her for hours.
Jennifer rocked it as usual! Very entertaining. A mixture of holiday classics, favorite solo hits, and a splash of Sugar Land. You’ll find yourself singing along for nearly 2 hours of delight.
The Symphony did an excellent job of playing Christmas music and playing along with Jennifer Nettles who sand a variety of her own songs along with a number of Christmas carols. It was a most enjoyable 2.5 hours.
She was great but the accompaniment was often too loud. We came to hear her beautiful voice and not the musicians
This was a very special evening. The symphony was amazing with Jennifer Nettles and her beautiful power house voice.
Her voice is out of this world and I would so love to see her again!!
Jennifer is natural talent. Amazing set of pipes. I see a lot of shows and very few performers have this, Justin Hayward comes to mind. The show selections were spot on highlighting both traditional and non-traditional Christmas songs, giving praise to our Lord, and mixing in her top chart hits. Amazing and wonderful show. Thanks Jennifer and all involved. Hope to see you down the road.
Seeing Jennifer with the symphony was unforgettable
Outstanding! We LOVE LOVE LOVE Ms. Nettles. What a voice. It was made even more exciting with the accompaniment of the Nashville Symphony. Two CLASSY ACTS !!!
The Schermerhorn is an amazing and wonderful venue. For not only symphony! The only thing that outshined the venue that night was the lovely and talented Jennifer Nettles! She connected to the audience with an amazing performance of both hits and Christmas songs. Reminded me of Whitney...
Our first time visiting the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and we loved the venue and will be returning! Not our first time with Jenifer Nettles, and as always, she was absolutely fantastic!! She one of if not the most powerful vocals we have ever had the opportunity to hear in person. Her depth and range are only exceeded by her enthusiasm and energy.
This was an AMAZING concert. My husband and I both love Jennifer Nettles, with or without Sugarland. We signed up for this concert in August, not realizing it was a Christmas concert. He was reluctant to go as he didn't want to hear Christmas music that early in December. However, she sang a lot of songs that were not Christmas, and the ones that were, she did beautifully. The venue was beautiful, other guests were friendly and polite, and it was easy to see the stage from any seat in the house. Jennifer's voice is absolutely spellbinding. This was a great concert and I recommend it to everybody.
Jennifer was absolutely fabulous and fantastic. Great voice and spirit.
Jennifer is extremely talented, and put on a wonderful show. It was so nice to be able to listen to her sing-her voice is unbelievable!
Jennifer Nettles was both powerful and captivating. She draws the audience in with her energy and presence. A must see show!
My third time seeing Jennifer live, the other two were with Christian. She is a beast. The power and clarity of her voice is truly a must to experience live. Her banter with the crowd is very natural and does not seem scripted like so many. The Tennessee Theatre has excellent acoustics and the sound was top notch. Nice blend of Christmas music and her hits. I missed hearing her most famous song - STAY! It would have been great if she got the audience involved, stepped away from the mic to go acapella to start a Christmas Carol and get the audience involved to sing along. I think is she saw this she would like that idea too!
