Jekyll & Hyde Tickets

My daughter and I really enjoyed Jekyll and Hyde tremendously. Jekyll was very good at making you believe that he was both characters in one. Everything was well scripted and the music was great. There were only a couple of miscues that I recognized but that is only due to my background in performing arts. My daughter watched so that she could write a paper for Motlow College but wished her whole class could have seen the performance. She said that it was better then the performance in Nashville "Chicago".

Outstanding performance! Both the cast and the set were remarkable.

This musical was fantastic because of the strong acting and beautiful vocals! It didn't take a lot of complex special effects to pull us into this well known story. It didn't even take two actors to play the Jekyll and Hyde characters. The transition was masterfully handed by voice and mannerisms by one incredibly-talented man. I had chills running down my back from both his character, but also from many of the beautiful vocals in the songs. A very memborable evening! Plus I earned a lot of points with my wife and daughters! Always a good thing!

The Broadway Theatre League did an excellent job of taking Robert Louis Stevenson masterful work of Jeckyll and Hyde and bringing the story to life on stage. The musical and love interest combination into a story of struggle between the upright man and his insidiously evil counterpart within was only enhanced by this wonderful collaboration of staging, lighting, sound, and acting.

The singing in this musical was the best ever. Not a weak singer among them. Very well acted and casted. I saw this musical a number of years ago at another venue. The singing didn't compare to that of this cast. Amazing. Must see.

A wonderful play with great talent presented throughout every scene. Beautiful music from the orchestra as well as the performers. The lighting was one of my favorite parts. I'm still trying to figure out if I loved Dr. Jekyll more than I enjoyed hating Mr. Hyde or if my sympathy should lie with the gentle Emma or brave and tragic Lucy. My 20 yr. old daughter and I after leaving the play spent 2 hrs. discussing what we thought the lesson was to be learned and what we brought away from the play. We laughed and occasionally talked seriously through this and if that isn't a treasure for a mother than nothing is. This play is suitable for audiences from mid teens and up in my opinion. I don't think anyone under 15 or 16 will find it as enjoyable. I would see this play again and have already recommended it to others.

Play was over all good. Poor acoustics in in VBC made it hard to hear. Lead actor could have done more to differentiate between the Jekyll and Hyde personalities. 2 main female leads were outstanding. Great voices.

Performance was outstanding and extremely enjoyable. A wonderful evening for all.

Excellent show. Cast was terrific with solid performances by the leads. Sets and lighting looked great. Overall, very well done.

Maybe it is the VBC stage, but this whole production felt reduced and flat. The sound just under the balcony was awful to the point we had problems understanding lyrics. The ushers continued to send people (and themselves) up our row even though the row behind us was empty. One usher stepped on my husband's foot and then kicked his cane down the row. The show itself is not what we expected; just one long note about facade and (maybe) love. The music was forgettable. Sorry we spent the money.

Where to start?? Well the music I guess! The singers were dead on with voices like I have not heard in a long time. A true treat! The scene changes were well handled and the actors all seemed comfortable on stage as with each other. Recently saw a play in NY city and this performance in Huntsville, AL was just as good and entertaining. I would actually pay to see this again! Bravo!!

Such a great production! The cast did a great job! The music and the performances were incredible! I would see it again if I had a chance!

This was the most EXTRAORDINARY show we've EVER seen (even counting events at The Centre). The singing voices of both the lead actor and the lady who played the "bad" lady, were so powerful it gave us shivers!! This troupe was amazing. The lighting and sound absolutely blew us away. I still can't figure out how they did some of the lighting scenes. The scene where Jekyll was interacting with Hyde near the end was phenomenal. He never missed a beat on the most intricate back and forth parlay I've ever seen. GREAT CREW, GREAT SHOW!!

Great performances, especially by the two leads - Jekyll and Lucy.

What a surprise! This was not part of the Broadway series and came to town as an extra production but what a surprise! The singers were amazing! Not advertised much so not well attended but it was one of the best touring productions we have ever seen.

We were amazed at how the cast was SO VERY . . . . well, amazing! Enjoyed the show very much! So glad that they chose to come to Evansville.

Impressive audio. Very in sync as it should be for a pre-recorded lip sync'ed performance. It was too well done to be live. Still enjoyed it and to someone new to the story it was well presented. But... at the price I would rather have had a more real variability than a smooth orchestrated event.

So so. Had great seats too. Love the victory theater.
