If you have the chance to see them, DO IT!! Jeff is hilarious and entertaining. In between music sets he engages with the crowd in fun ways. The band plays great, the music is fun and upbeat and the singer has an amazing voice. Super fun night!!
Jeff and his band are super talented and entertaining! So engaging and fun. A must see! You will not be disappointed. Venue was fantastic. Perfect all around.
This has to be one of the most entertaining shows I’ve ever attended. We all know Jeff Goldblum the actor, but I never knew he played jazz piano til I just happened upon a YouTube video of him talking about it. I immediately searched and found tix for a concert he was doing near us. We got in the theater 20 min before the show start and some guy was milling around the piano I thought was a sound checker or something. Turns out it was Jeff in a Hawaiian shirt and hat. He picked up a mic and just started chatting it up with arriving audience. So fun and engaging like having a close friend visiting in your living room. He told stories, received gifts, played names and movie title games and joked around til almost half hour later. Then like magic, this incredible band just flowed smoothly right into position on stage and voila!, the music started. Incredible sax player, stand up bass, jazz guitar, tight drummer, stellar Hammond organ player and of course Jeff on piano! A few songs in- a lovely vocalist Leah Booth joined in to lull us into her sultry singing which was really top top notch performance. The whole time Jeff was so into it all and so entertaining! My wife and I go to lots of live music events and this one is really at the top for one of our precious memories together!!!
Jeff is one the best entertainers in the world, period! He surprised the audience by coming to the stage 20 minutes before the show started. He was energetic, warm, and very funny. His band and the guest performer were equally fantastic. The Fox Theater is one of the most beautiful theaters I’ve visited. Please keep it going for generations to come!
This is one of the best shows we have been to in a long time. This band didn't just play music, even before the actual showtime Mr. Goldblum was up on the stage alone doing patter, engaging with the audience, playing games with them, and generally endearing his audience to him. Even when the band began playing, he interspersed their music with more audience engagement and the audience was eating out of his hand. His playing, and that of the band was really good too by the way. What a band. What a crowd. What a night! If you ever get the chance to see them, I would definitely recommend it.
The theater is a great venue but the high-rise seats were a strain for me. The music was enjoyable but Jeff Goldblum talked to much.
We loved every minute. Jeff doesn’t disappoint! He’s quite the entertainer and he’s does play the piano very well. The orchestra was unexpectedly superb. Please come back to Costa Mesa soon!!
We absolutely love Jeff Goldblum. His boyish wonder and joie de vivre made his show wonderful. The band and vocalist were top notch! Highly recommend.
I have a thing for Jeff Goldblum, so my expectations for this show were high. He did not disappoint! His fun, quirky personality shown through all evening. He was friendly with the audience, signing autographs and taking photos before the show. He engaged us with humor and trivia between songs. Oh yeah, the music was really good, too! Haha. I'm so glad I went to this show and wouldn't hesitate to see him again.
The show was fabulous from start to finish. Jeff Goldblum came out early and entertained the crowd with anecdotes, selfie song, and all of the “Goldblum” you could hope to get. Then, the concert starts and there’s more Goldblum! With a group of masterful musicians and the impeccable timing of the entire ensemble, a magical night of music and fun was had by all.
What a fun night! Great music, beautiful venue at the Balboa and Jeff Goldblum put on a hilarious and fun musical show! Along with the Mildred Setzer Orchestra, the whole night was perfect with great jazz music.

Such a great show, such a talented band, what a great performance! Jeff has such a cool and smooth flow on stage, it’s really awesome to experience in person. He interacts with the audience and is super nice! Will def go again if it’s within a 200 mile radius :)
Instead of advertising as a jazz concert, it should’ve been an intimate night with Jeff Goldblum & Jazz. He was incredible, very humble and was interacting with the audience an hour before the event started. Throughout the show he played local trivia, jokes, and chatted with the audience. However, from a Jazz perspective it was lacking a bit, since there weren’t enough songs. The singer was phenomenal, so was the orchestra. It just felt more like you’re having out with the group, having a good time, and they happen to play jazz. I still recommend going just adjusting your expectations.
Jeff Goldblum is the best celebrity that I have ever encountered. He came out an hour before the show and talked to anyone who wanted to talk. He took pictures and was just a great "normal" person. It's really refreshing to see that from a celebrity these days, most are stuck up, woke, or just plain ignorant. The show itself was also very entertaining. The band was awesome. They were very talented (especially the drummer). I would definitely go back to see Jeff and his orchestra again. This was money well spent.

A brilliant evening. JG puts 100% into everything he does, and jazz music seems to be no exception.
We really enjoyed the show, our seats, and the vibe. Jeff was charismatic as ever and the music / commentary was great! People need to control their phone use/recording - we all do it, but holding your phone up to record a video for a full 5min should be outlawed at these shows.
The perfect night! Jeff Goldblum is everything you want him to be and more! This was truly a memorable evening. I can’t recommend going to see him and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra highly enough! I’d recommend getting there early because he was on stage interacting with fans as soon as the doors opened. You could tell he enjoyed the show as much as we did. 10/10
Excellent show with Jeff Goldblum interactive with the audience for about 40 minutes before the show. Loved the games and puzzles between songs and guest singers. Overall a very entertaining evening.
