Je'Caryous Johnson Presents “NEW JACK CITY LIVE” Tickets

We absolutely loved it!!! The music was beautiful, the art outstanding and the actors were truly phenomenal.

I enjoyed the showed! Good time limit, on time, good cast, good acting..zero complaints.

This was the second time that we've watched this stage play in Houston. It was absolutely amazing. I can't wait for other stage plays by Je'Caryous

I really liked the performance, the actors had all the characters downs. It made me want to go and watch the movie again. I like the back story on they added about Nino and G Money. This was really a great show.

My husband and I went to see the Houston show, and it did not disappoint. We definitely enjoyed it. I love how well it mimics the movie. Would definitely recommend for a date night or just a really nice outing. Allen Payne, Treach, Flex Alexander and Omar Gooding, along with the entire cast, put on an outstanding performance. And we look forward to the next Je'Caryous Johnson show when it comes to Houston.

I enjoyed the play. The actors gave good performances and the dialogue closely followed that of the movie. Some of the ladies in the audience made it known by their cheers that they appreciated seeing Treach and Allen Payne shirtless. I recommend the play to others.

The play started off slow, I had planned to leave during intermission. But... it started to pickup at the end of the first half. I stayed and wasn't disappointed. Overall I'd give the play a 7 out of 10

You have to Love New Jack City movie to enjoy the play. Obviously the movie could not be played out on stage, but they did have the main unforgettable scenes. Flex did a good job as pookie, I liked the humor that was added with his character. Treach was great as Nino. Of course he had to do a music sample. Allen Payne looked like he only aged 5 yrs since the movie..His Body OMG. Of course he played his part just as good as he did in the movie. Ward as the Duh Duh Man was funny. Gary Dourdon I'm such a fan of him all he had to do was stand there, however he was really did a good job playing the part of Scotty. The guy who play Nick was good too. Unfortunately Big Daddy Kane wasn't in this showing. I liked they added how Nino and G money met. The added humor was a plus. Overall a play was really good. Glad they came to Jacksonville.

Would see it again everyday and twice on Sundays lol Simply great.

I love everything about it. All the actors was great. Just like the movie a lot of the scenes, I noticed they change a few things. but it turned out great.

We went to the 3 pm show, it was awesome, to see Allen Payne again was just great. Treach and Flex Alexander did a tremendous job. I loved it, and my friends did also. They brought back that New Jack Vibe.

It was a good play. I wished the original cast could have done it. I know have passed on. It would’ve been nice to see the original people.
