This was my first ever play. It was AWESOME! The cast was spectacular and the storyline was heart touching. I'd recommend this play hands down and look forward to future productions by Je'Caryous Johnson.
Great show!! Cast was perfect...each character was entertaining and so real. The combination of acting and singing brought an emotional connection to each scene. Applause to all who brought this production to Houston :-)
I took my mom to see this play for Mother's Day and she was so excited when we left. She talked about how funny everyone was and how the vocals were impressive. I don't think that she has ever been to a play before, but I think she's hooked now. Mr. Johnson did a great job and so did the cast!!!
Cheaper to Keep Her was awesome. It touched on relationship issues couples face daily in real life. Men and women must realize the grass always looks greener on the other side because it has a lot of manure to fertilizing it. (LOL) Keep up the good work Mr. Johnson.
That was a great play. I even managed to speak to Je'Caryous as he was walking up the aisle. Awesome play.
Great play! I really enjoyed it. Not to mention my favorite piece of it all was being able to see Brian McKnight perform. He is such an amazing artist. I was even able to meet Brian along with taking a picture with him and an autographed CD. I highly recommend seeing "Cheaper to keep her "! You won't be disappointed!!
The play was excellent. I didn't realize until I got home to put my Program away that I realized I had already saw it, because I had another Program identical to this one. I actually saw it when it first started in Houston.

I loved this play from beginning to end it brought together comedy and drama in an amazing way! This was money well spent!
The show was better than expected. I think this was the best show that I have attended. It was actually a mini concert within the play. Brian McKight has a excellent voice and Vivica Fox was on point as usual. The other cast members were great also. I really had a good time at this play and would recommend to others.
Job well done Mr. Je'Caryous Johnson. The cast was great and I love the signature signing portion afterwards. I'll definitely support all upcoming events. Also thanks for the intermission performances (dancers and signer).
It hass been a while since I had went to a play. This play was the best I have seen so far.
I am the BIGGEST Brian McKnight fan and I took my mom to see this play as a Mothers Day gift. It was phenominal. All of the cast were dramatic and funny at the same time. I definitely would recommend this play.
This was a wonderful, entertaining & all-around great play. This is my second time seeing this play & I loved it. First time went with a girlfriend and second I went with my husband, he loved it! We had second row seats so he was really up close & personal witht he cast. Could not have picked a better play. Look forward to future events from Mr. Johnson. P.S. Love that you show cased the youth, I loved both, they were fabulous.

Play was just OK. They didn't start on time but I don't know if that was bc they were waiting on the audience to arrive - most didn't. It was pretty empty. Maybe b/c this was their second run in Houston.

The play was great better than I thought it would be
My wife and I missed the play while it was showing in the New York area so I decided to take a road trip to Baltimore and check it out because it had great reviews. Well I'm not the "go to a play" type of guy but I really enjoyed this play because it seemed as though the actors interacted with the crowd, laughed with you. They were entertaining from begining to end. I would definitely recommend the play to others. Job well done.
