    Could have been better

by PopsP on 3/15/10Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

The play had several good messages that appeared to get lost in the shuffle. There were no playbills. Stage decoratorations were disorganized. The cast helped to make up for some of the disorganization. Mr. Slocom, might have your name spelled wrong, but your joke about the one of Kardashin girl being ugly was not funny. Don't know the woman personally, but please find another joke. You did a wonderful job in your role otherwise. Loved Brian McKnight, but he had too many songs. At one point I felt that it was the Brian McKnight show. The play became more about race at one point than about cheating. God was kind of shoved in there, but he wasn't used in the way the people need to see him and understand how he can help through all relationship issues, even by the Christian couple in the show. Work on the stage organization, cut some of Brian's songs, add more dialog and this can be a really good play. Great job Wendy and Vivica!

    Highly Recommended!

Brian McKnight and Vivian Fox had great chemistry. Wendy Robinson and Jonathan Slocumb were their comedic selves and very entertaining. The singing was superb and the other actors were really good. Overall, this play was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

    Now that was a Show

    by BigRod24 on 3/15/10Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

I got what I paid for. I really enjoyed the comedy as well as the singing. It was a concert and a play in one. Brian Mcknight still has it and he shut the show down. The cast was great together really brung the story to life. Enjoyed the meet and great after the show too bad Brian and Vivica didn't show to meet the audience but thats cool they would probably be overwhelm by the charlotte crowd but enjoyed the stars who did. Added note I got a Great pic with Wendy and she reminded several people her name was not Tasha Mack.lol Thanks

Yes I really enjoyed this play, everyone perform so well and Brain McKnight sung his you know what off. I was really excited when JeCaryous announce that we were the first to see the play, now if someone say something about it I can say oh I saw it first. Yes I would go back to see it again and I will purchase the DVD when it comes out. Purchase two other plays that night on DVD. cheaper to keep her...

by allmynz on 3/15/10Ovens Auditorium - Charlotte

I felt like the play was kind of slow pre-intermission, but the storyline definitely picked up with great comedy, purpose, and interest during the second half. I love Brian McKnight and Mr. Christian Keys, but I would have loved if some of the other characters sung more during the play as well. Other than that, Ms. Wendy Raquel Robinson was VERY entertaining. I loved the happy ending as well.
