Writer/Director/Producer Je’Caryous Johnson who brought you the sold out hit play, “MARRIED BUT SINGLE,” is back with his next romantic comedy – “TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME.” The movie you loved is now a stage play and coming to your city. “TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME” is the comedy that proves when men start playing around, women will even the score. Hollywood Star and Queen of the Screen Vivica A. Fox reprises her role from the original movie as relationship guru, Shante Smith and gives fans the real low down on everyday rules to relationships. The stage version gives audiences the same story they fell in love with in the original movie with some new twists and turns. When it comes to matters of the heart, Shante Smith is so adept at navigating the waters of romance that her girlfriends look to her for relationship advice. But soon, Shante’s own relationship becomes the example when her boyfriend, Keith, is caught red-handed stepping out with his co-worker and her archrival, Conny. However, when Shante institutes a plan full of tricks and games to get Keith to act right, he, with the help of his friend Tony, fire back with a quickness, letting Shante know that “TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME.” So, whether you call it a "Battle of the Sexes” or “Love and War,” “TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME” explores the rules of dating in a hilarious way and displays how men and women relate or don’t relate to each other.

Great play with awesome cast. Great seats all around
First parking. Charging for parking is ridiculous because you just paid a lot to see the play. The venue was old. The play was good but it slowed down in some parts then I got bored. All in all it was pretty good. But needs work.
Loved the storyline. It was switched up from the movie which made it original. It was awesome!!!!
The cast was very talented and did a wonderful job!
Excellent playwrite.. growing up with Andra and Je’Caryous it’s sooo good to see young black men doing amazing things. The entire cast was amazing!! Great work
One word: AWESOME! Two Can Play that Game is one of my all-time favorite movies. The play was quite different, but the integrity of the movie remained intact. The writing was superb and the acting was amazing. I would recommend this play to everyone.
The play was funny with plenty of punchlines and not a whole lot of singing. On Friday's performance, we loved how the main character incorporated his trip on the stage into his lines...good save (glad you didn't fall)!! He made H-town proud -- thanks for repping home well! Overall everyone did an awesome performance. Job well done to the cast and crew!
What a FANTASTIC show!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed every character. Such talent in one room. I loved the updated tweaks to make the show current to what's going on circa 2017. Of course, Ms. Vivica was EVERYTHING!!! The singing talent was equally phenomenal. Beautiful venue; professional staff; fun to dress up and just a perfect all around date night with my hubby! We took full advantage of everything---valet parking; dining; autographs and pics with the producer and a couple of other actors. WISHED Vivica, Porsha, Vivian and Bre'ly would have come out to mingle with the crowd. Awesome celebrity cast, nonetheless! Would MOST DEFINITELY see it again and recommend to anyone else to see!
Never expected to laugh so much. The cast was amazing! And I loved all the H-Town references. Thank you for a great evening!
I laughed a lot I would definitely go back I never wanted to go because I thought I wasn’t into plays but this play has changed my mind
Loved everything. Most of all loved hearing Vivian Green sing.
The play was so amazing. The actors were so fun. They were really great actors
I laughed a lot during the play. The two characters I liked the most was Carl Payne and the actress that replaced the other actress
Great acting, great show...Overall, awesome show! I would see it again!
Everyone was Great,we all was laughing so hard the writer needs to keep them coming
With the exception of the parking being 15 dollars and not enough handicap stalls, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this event. The play was even funnier than I thought it would be. Vivica Fox was an amazing stage director. She engaged the audience. The cast was funny as hell. Even the mistakes we're hilarious. And the surprise from Toni Braxton took the cake. If you get the chance, go see this play. You will not regret it.
I enjoyed the play from start to finish. There were variations from the original movie but that was to be expected. I love to lose myself in entertainment, especially romantic dramedies, that momentarily take me away from the daily stresses of life and this play did not disappoint. The entire cast did a superb job of acting, despite a few technical difficulties and distractions. Toni Braxton was a delightful surprise too. I laughed a lot and especially enjoyed Ms. Vivica Fox and Carl Payne, however, everyone played their parts so well. I would most definitely recommend seeing the play when it comes to a theater near you!
Great cast and play! Can't wait till the next one.
The cast did a wonderful job. Loved it from start to finish!
