Writer/Director/Producer Je’Caryous Johnson who brought you the sold out hit play, “Married But Single” and the hilarious romantic comedy, “Two Can Play That Game” is back with another one – Je’Caryous Johnson presents SET IT OFF based on the hit iconic movie by the same name. Fans will get to relive the ride that made them love SET IT OFF the movie, but this time around they will experience it LIVE ON STAGE.
The hit heist, cult classic movie you love is now a stage play and coming to your city. The same iconic characters – Frankie, Tisean (T.T.), Stoney and Cleo are back bringing the same action packed, adrenaline filled robbery scenes and emotionally charged antics against an equally exciting music soundtrack that will have you on the edge of your seat. Multi–platinum selling rapper DA BRAT will be starring as Cleopatra “CLEO” Sims, the role originally played by Queen Latifah in the movie. Fans will recall SET IT OFF centers on four childhood friends who spent a lifetime struggling to move away from the mean streets of their neighborhood. The system stole their dreams and now the four are determined to steal them back. With their world in turmoil and their backs against the wall, they decide to seek their fortune - literally. Targeting the banks of Los Angeles, Cleo, Stony, Tisean (T.T.) and Frankie rob the city's most vulnerable financial institutions. Flush with cash, they discover that mo’ money equals mo’ problems.

Show was amazing. The perfect cast was selected! Parking could be more organized.
Set It Off is my favorite movie. I was skeptical of how they could transition to a live show. I was thoroughly impressed. Everyone did a good job. Da Brat was definitely a stand out.
Omg this is a Play that I highly recommend everyone to see hands down!!!!!!!!!
Cast was great. Latoya and da Brat were amazing! The play captured every highlight from the movie. Well DONE!!!
This play far exceeded my expectations. This is must see!
with the exception of the unexpected immature audience the talked and critiqued ever move, the play was great! I enjoyed the twisted from the original storyline as well as the pattern from the original. It was worth seeing.
I must say that this play was one to remember. I laughed the entire play at Da’Brat! She was super funny. All of the ladies did an amazing job. The play was definitely worth seeing!
Great rendition of a classic! Atlanta showed up and showed out! I would love to see it again.
This was an excellent play and a great job done by all.
It's was hard to turn a movie into a play but they did a ok job. Some scenes were slightly confusing with too much going on the stage. But it was ok considering what they had to work with. I loved the fact that it was not a lot of singing like some plays, that was great. I would recommend it. Loved the end part with car and how the end changed from the movie bus scene. Great job
BEST PLAY I HAVE SEEN IN A WHILE. ALL THE ACTORS PLAYED THE PARTS EXCELLENT. THE BRAT WAS AN ADDED BONUS...THE PLAY WAS AWESOME.
I loved the play!! It was good from beginning to end. Da Brat was hilarious, the cast did an amazing job. When Da Brat came out at the end it was epic.
It captured all the favorite scenes from the movie.
Worth the money. Go see it! Everyone did an awesome job. Da bratt was very entertaining
The ladies played the parts in the most explicit way. Each character was represented in away that really displayed how we as women are exposed to real life situations. I was exceptional thrilled with the drama that was portrayed by each of the females in the play. Each character was well playes.
We paid too much to see this play. I love the characters in the play, but the play itself was not good. The tickets should have costed maybe $30 max, then it would have been worth going to see. And I don't mind paying top dollar for quality things, this just wasn't worth it. Really wanted to like the play...did love Cobb Energy Center, will definitely go back.
The play was good from beginning to end and very easy to follow, it did the original movie justice.
Great play. The Brat did her thing. The entire cast was great. Looking forward to more work from Je'Caryous Johnson.
Great actors but the stage design seemed like high schoolers created it. The scene with police walking in circles wasn't a good idea.
