great sound - she can still belt it out. and very entertaining between each song - very funny

Traveled from Buffalo to see her and ALWAYS worth the drive! Didn't have new CD, yet her opening song Mr. McLennen sounded so familar - it was then interesting to learn that it's actually a cover of sorts of her own original music. Loved the showcasing of the band, only complaint would be many of the early numbers had some annoying with Jann's chorus being 'echoed' by Allison Cornell - there were definitely songs where it worked, but once you got keyed into it as an audience member it was pretty annoying - just too much of it!

Great show as usual. Love the candor and personal demeanor of Jann on the stage. Great vocals and humor. Enjoyed Keith and Renee as opening act. Jann Arden puts on a great show, always leaving the audience wanting more Loved it.

Show was beyond description! Jann is an exceptional performer who treats her audience, not as customers, but as family. Jann opens her heart to the audience. Recommend this concert to all!

We enjoyed the concert tremendously! Jann Arden gave a great performance without an opening act. She sang all the songs that made her famous and from her new album. Her band did an incredible job.

Jann and her band produced exceptionally professional music with impeccable sound quality. Unlike few others, Jann is able to generate a very personal connection with her audience. Overall it was 2.5 hours of total entertainment covering the entire spectrum from humour to heart-wrenching to nostalgic to foot-stomping Rock and Roll.

Jann Arden has a lovely voice and has recorded many good songs. She is a comedian and keeps her audience engaged throughout the concert. The band was super. She did seem somewhat tired and did not sing all of her songs in their entirety. Massey Hall as a venue is terrible. The seats are uncomfortable, the upper balcony way to high for a good view of the stage and there were too many bodies in the way. Massey Hall's redeeming quality is its good acoustics.

She was amazing - as usual. She not only performs beautifully but she just EXUDES personality. Excellent stage presence. When I found out that 3 of the musicians were from Toronto I had to wonder, have they played together before? One of the others had played with Bryan Adams for many years and I can just remember that one was from Washington and another from California - and I know I am missing someone. SORRY! BUT - They were TIGHT! Great Show!

As always Jann Arden was very entertaining. Her music is outstanding and her humour during her concerts is refreshing. One thing I particularly like is that her performances are not what I would call glitzy with all the bells and whistles. She doesn't need that. Can hardly wait until she comes back again.

So much to tell....Jann is always a hoot. She is personal, thoughtful and enthusiastic. I have seen her many times and this was the best. Her musicians are a performance unto themselves and added immensely. Jann always shares herself through story- and this show- with photos. Makes you love her all the more. (I drove from Buffalo and am looking forward to next week in Toronto)

What can I say about going to a Jann Arden concert. A fantastic experience with a superb singer and a pretty darn good stand up comedian! Never miss an opportunity to see her!

Jann Arden is an amazing singer and entertainer. Even with her fame over the years she has still maintained her down to earth view to life and personality - Bravo! I saw her a few years ago and besides a wonderful singing voice she was such a comedian never missing a beat. She had me captivated by her voice one moment and rolling with laughter the next. She is a role model to all performers as to what exactly a talented singer/song writer/ entertainer really is. I look forward to the next time she performs in Hamilton - and I will definitely be there! One thing I would like to suggest is perhaps turning down the amplifier on the electric guitar, while played by a very talented musician, it was a wee bit too loud and I couldn't hear Jann Arden's amazing voice.

the show was entertaining and fun throughout. The band was very tight, the back up singer was extremely talented and should be performing on her own. It felt like the whole band had a warm relationship that translated to the audience. Jann Arden was in good voice and good humour. A great night that was well worth the ticket. No intermission but a creative way to ensure that everyone on stage had moments to rest.

Seeing Jann Arden is like visiting an old friend. You take your shoes off and plunk your butt down and just sit and chat and have a lotta laughs. It is so comforting and familiar to share her time. I love the stories of her family, the sound of her mother's voice, the old photos of her band. She always gives a new bit of information about herself and she is generous kind and loving towards all people's. The band that is traveling with her is also enthralling. Allison is an incredible musician and echoed Jann's every sung word. She is a master of many instruments and a real pro performer. The drummer, Lyall was also quite mesmerizing and incredible on his other instruments. Great entertainment, affordable evening and just a lovely time. I have seen Jann Arden many times in a few different venues and every year, she continues to get better, purer in sound and is just a treat. Her Momma must be proud!

I really enjoyed Jann giving background to her new music, and filling in the blanks with some of her previous tunes. Jann indicated Wishing That may have been somewhat obscure; I don't think that is the case at all, at least not for me - it's a personal fave that I have recommended so many times to close friends. Sharing her growing-up photos was precious. She is the quintessential Canadian, and such an entertaining lady! There is a reason I have bought all of her CDs and not simply downloaded her songs. Thank you, Jann.

I have seen Jann more than 12 times in concert. I never get tired of her. She is simply the best performer I have seen. Her sense of humour makes for a memorable evening

Jann at her best as always. Both old and new songs that will mesmerize. Her humour is also fabulous and she did a slide show with comments and she opened up the floor for questions and fans. Her backup band is also tremendous!

She was awesome. Great music and her personality makes it so enjoyable...2hours 15 minutes, just her and the band.

Totally awesome. Totally enjoyable. Jann never disappoints with her crisp, true voice, melancholy lyrics.....her band was incredible as well...talented musicians and vocals. Gotta love her home stories and sense of humor! This is our third concert of hers that we have attended....another five star performance!
