    Mama mia

by Mt on 5/13/23Gramercy Theatre - New York

I did not like to have a pat down and removal of my water bottle before event and had ti chew more oreos before i could enter.this was a wholesome event not hard rock. Had to spend 6.00 for water which i always need Ticket said 7pm i thought show started then not doors open i was on line from 6:15 and show began 8pm Choir choir was fun. The leaders very talented. Like big karaoke party. Glad balcony seating.. Pick a different venue next time. Broadway doesnt take away your water or snack.

    Good Times!

by Barbara on 5/13/23Gramercy Theatre - New York

Choir! Choir! Choir! Is a brilliant entertainment model. I know so many people that love to sing along, but you really can't do that in a Broadway show! But you can here! Daveed and Nobu are talented, hilarious, and memorable. "The audience is the performance!" What a brilliant idea. One suggestion: make it clearer that 7 PM is "open doors" for those of us who shouldn't be either sitting around or standing around for extended periods.

    Singing...Laughing and a little dancing

by Absolutely Fabulous...Exactly what I was expecting on 2/14/23Le Studio TD - Montréal

The hosts we're extremely funny and put us at ease with practicing different songs to get to "Mama Mia" the star song of the evening. Fun ans exciting and planning to go to next one in October :) Try it out if you like to sing... Venue was too hot and too dark = Le Studio TD

Excellent show where everyone in the audience participates. It was nice to hear the harmony of the audience. Will likely attend other shows.

    Had a lovely evening!

by Singer Sue on 2/19/19National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

I very much enjoyed my evening at the NAC with the CHOIR! CHOIR! CHOIR! ensemble. It was light-hearted and fun and even though I thought it was quite an undertaking to direct a choir of that size somehow the two gents made it all happen. A little less chatting would have been appreciated and more music. As someone who had brought a niece to try to entice her into the choral world the experience did nothing to that desired effect. We both loved the ABBA music and while they chose 3 good pieces they could have added in a couple more well known songs. Super Trouper strongly comes to mind to go with the theme. I would suggest that the group try for smaller venues to get and instlll their love of choral singing in those not familiar. Then again there's nothing like a great big sing-along now isn't there?? Thank you for the opportunity to review.
