Janet Jackson is an R&B and pop singer who has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and won five Grammys. As the 10th child of the famous Jackson family, the superstar began recording her own music in the early 1980s and broke out with the release of her third studio album, 1986’s Grammy-nominated Control. The album and its socially conscious follow-up, 1989’s Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814, established Jackson’s long collaboration with producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and helped pioneer the new jack swing genre. Smash albums like 1993’s Janet, 1997’s The Velvet Rope and 2001’s Grammy-nominated All For You followed, with Jackson amassing 10 No. 1 singles to her name. She is such a beautiful and talented person. I love to watch her sing and dance. She is the queen of pop. I am a big fan of Janet. I would recommend her concert to everyone. It has been one of the best concerts I have been to. I would definitely go to another one of her concerts. She puts on a great show along with the rest of the dancers, and the band.

She performed all her #1's and totally rocked it out all night. No backup tracks - just her singing and sounding phenomenal. Paid more to sit close, but the nearly 2 hour show was well worth every penny. Would highly recommend this show to anyone. If you are a Janet fan, don't miss this one. If you are just thinking about going - JUST DO IT! You won't be disappointed. I have seen two of her other concerts over the years and this tops them all!!!

I saw her live in 2008 at MSG and she was awesome!! I'm looking forward to seeing her at Radio City this month and I'm certain as always she'll be great a class act.

With all of those encounters she has NEVER changed, so every time she is doing something or come back home to Chicago I support her. Because she is, quite the class act and I applaud her for that. by Monyque on 2/24/11Phillips Arena - AtlantaHANDS DOWN, Janet is the best live performer I've ever seen! She performed with great energy for 2 1/2 hours with no intermission. She only took short breaks to change clothes in between songs, and was back on stage by the time the next song started. Also, Janet's stage background and props changed several times througout the show (which I loved). Janet is a performer who greatly appreciates her fans and gives them her best through her shows. I can't wait to see her again!
