Janelle Monáe is an eight-time Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter, author, producer, actor and fashion icon. Her singular catalog of critically-acclaimed work — often exploring identity and futuristic landscapes — includes 2018’s Dirty Computer, which was nominated for the Album of the Year Grammy and hailed by Rolling Stone as a “liberated futurist funk masterpiece.” Monáe’s innovative, sci-fi vision began with her debut album, 2010’s The ArchAndroid, which received rave reviews, and Prince declared that Monáe’s second album The Electric Lady was the best album of 2013. With her amazing voice and endless energy Janelle took us on a journey stealing our souls for 2 hours then leaving us full of joy, good music, rockin dancin, and fulfillment. I traveled from NYC for the concert and I am so glad I did!

She never looked tired and always engaged with the crowd. So much engaged, that she actually walked through the crowd, while singing, hugging fans and taking pics! phenomenal! I couldn't believe it! Monae does this for the love of music and the love of her fans and supporters! I would go to this show 5 days a week and still be amazed.

She gave a real concert that was 2+ hours worth of non-stop greatness. I am in awe. One of the best concerts I have ever attended. A similar one that comes to mind is Prince. Need I say more?

It's so refreshing to see a successful African American woman of her caliber teaching and preaching that you can still be a bad motha with your clothes ON. This girl is funky, creative, soulful, and a real visionary. I've been to many (big name) concerts in my lifetime and this was the best. Hands down! I recommend this concert to any and everyone. You wont be disappointed.
