Always great, see Jake Bugg live!

    by g8rsig on 12/13/17Sixth & I - Washington

Have seen him several times, he keeps getting better! Singer/songwriter with a mesmerizing voice. This show was completely acoustic. He sounds great and is very comfortable chatting up the crowd. Enjoyed the 6th & I venue for the first time.

Concert waa amazing. It was my first time at the venue and I just loved the intimate feeling and the acoustics. Definitely keeping an eye on the next events there hoping to attend another one on this beautiful place.

    Just great music

by ktjankabar on 12/10/17Town Hall - New York

Jake has a beautiful voice which shines in his music. He doesn't interact much with the audience but is focused on providing a great show for the audience. He does seem to stress a bit when things aren't working properly (guitars) -- not sure if he's entirely comfortable on stage. But in the end it's about his music, lyrics and his voice, all of which are fabulous!

    You just need a guitar

by ragmau on 12/8/17Paradise Rock Club - Boston

This is a solo acoustic show, so Jake only uses his guitar(s) and that is more than enough! I never thought I was not going to miss the rest of the band.

    Jake Bugg is amazeballs!!!

by denisseizur on 10/12/16Terminal 5 - New York

Now Jake Bugg, WAOOOOO!! He starts the show solo, just him and his guitar. It feels so intimate and his voice cuts through. He is one of the few artist I have seen that sounds just like the albums but then again even better. He doesn't talk to much (which he stated he had been criticized for) but it does not take away from his performance. He plays songs from his new and first album, which I appreciated. When the band comes out the atmosphere changes but the sound is still clear. Just in general, the show was great. I would definitely pay to see him again.

    Jake is Great

by bostoncarl on 10/3/16Royale Boston - Boston

Jake is an awesome musician, and I loved the performance. I was only disappointing in the fact that there was no encore, what?

    Jake bug was brilliant

by TugW on 10/1/16Royale Boston - Boston

The opening act Syd Arthur had talent but the instruments drowned out the singer. Not so with jake bug his show was incredible

True Star has fallen to earth

    by 2013rocks on 10/1/16Terminal 5 - New York

Powerhouse vocals and guitar. Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix would be proud of this 22 yr old who is going to be remembered with all the greats. Amazing acoustic set that melts the soul, and then the show is driven by hard rocking treatments to his amazing catalogue. Amazing connection with the audience.

    Jake Bugg delivers the goods

by rossmann on 9/30/16Terminal 5 - New York

Jake Bugg played a 90 minute set of 22 songs from from his 3 albums. Nine of the songs were from his new album which I had not heard before Tuesday nights show at Terminal 5. I was not disappointed as there was not one song that I disliked in the entire set. He started the show with an acoustic set and then brought the band out for the rest of the performance. As with most good musicians the live show was much better than his studio recordings and I would recommend all music lovers to catch him live.

    Mediocrity at it's worst

by CraigGardner on 9/30/16Terminal 5 - New York

The show was just ehh. Very disappointed for someone who headlined Glastonbury. I knew I was in for trouble when he started the set with 5 straight solo acoustic songs. He was extremely low energy and just went through the motions. No encore or engagement with the fans.

    Jake is unbelievable

by MacFan2014 on 9/17/16The Wiltern - Los Angeles

I didn't think I could enjoy a concert more than I did when I saw Jake for the first time at the Wiltern back in 2014. I enjoyed every song, sang along with every song, and just had one of the best concert experiences of my life. This show was no different, just even better. The songs he did from the first two albums sounded just as fresh and new as the songs from new album did. I loved how a lot of the songs really didn't stop, they just went right into another song. I loved that he did the song Saffron, a song that I had only heard online. I am in my 50's and I don't like a lot of the new music that comes out these days. But Jake's music is a clear exception. It is new and fresh but reminds you of music from the past. I can't wait to see what he does on his next album and tour.

    All business

by WPPat on 3/24/16Bowery Ballroom - New York

I have seen Jake quite a few times now, for one, he needs to introduce his band and an encore would be nice. As an artist he is expanding his music by adding a keyboard player and taking his music in different directions with the release of his upcoming 3rd album. I would have loved to have heard "Broken" and/or "Simple as This" in the set. He played for 70 minutes, he speaks a little bit more to the audience than he once did, but you would never confuse him for Bono. He is still worth checking out.

    It was AMAZING!!!

by Jessica2734 on 3/24/16Bowery Ballroom - New York

Jake Bugg is just so calm and the voice is so raw and beautiful. Certain songs everybody in the audience was quiet for. I've been to over 20 concerts including Lana del Rey and Beyoncé and this was by far the best I've ever seen. What a voice.

    One of my favorite shows!!

    by addiemarie12 on 6/30/14The National - Richmond

I've known about Jake Bugg for like 2 years now. and have been dying to see him, but never got the chance. When I saw that he was going to be in Richmond I had to go!! I was surprised that they still had tickets a week before the show. When I got into the venue, I was too excited. The Silver Palms were good, but Jake Bugg was amazing. The best part was that I got to be fairly close to the stage.

    Jake Bugg

by mbwcat on 6/24/14The National - Richmond

That was one of the best concerts I have ever been to, if not the very best. Jake Bugg was definitely amazing. We enjoyed being able to watch someone that is so talented in a small and beautiful venue. The opening band The Silver Palms were an excellent compliment to Jake Buggs style and seemed to really enjoy the crowd. I would love to see them preform every day!!!! Great show!

    Jake Bugg:

by roccosocco on 6/24/14The National - Richmond

Jake Bugg is an amazing young talent who combines country and folk roots influences with a dash of 70's brit punk and new wave thrown into the mix . He's an old soul with a unique vocal style and writes songs with incredible insight and passion. His live performance was spot on and he's a great guitarist to boot. He almost seems too good to be only 20 years old. Teen girls looking for another One Dimension, er Direction, were likely the only ones disappointed at this all ages show.

Jake Bugg is one of the most artistic young musicians of his day. He is the real deal. Very enjoyable concert in every way.
