About

Jai Wolf on Tour

Jai Wolf's transformation from bedroom EDM producer to global festival favorite all happened rather naturally. Born in Bangladesh in 1991, the man behind the moniker, Sajeeb Saha, eventually settled in New York and by 2015 had several high-profile remixes and a debut single under his belt. He's since traveled the world, scoring slots at festivals throughout North America, Europe and Asia, including Coachella, Ultra and Lollapalooza in 2017. In 2019, Jai Wolf kicked off one of his biggest tours to support his debut album, The Cure to Loneliness. He puts just as much into his live shows as his recordings, often coming up with all the stunning visuals, videos and colors that accompany his massive wall of sound.

Jai Wolf in Concert

Jai Wolf's hazy indie dance music conjures sunny days and starry nights with its warm, blissed-out melodies. The Bangladesh-born producer has always had music in his life, beginning with the traditional Bengali music his parents played at home, a custom they continued after emigrating to the U.S. when Saha was just one year old. By the time he was five, living in rural Illinois, Saha was taking violin lessons. He became more inspired by indie, punk, hip-hop and electronic music in his teens, and soon took up the guitar. While he craved being in a band, Saha's friends were not into the same music so he decided to try his hand at being a solo artist. He began experimenting with production software, making beats and songs inspired by dubstep artists like Afrojack and Avicii, and putting together mashups and remixes under the name No Pets Allowed. In 2014, he decided on a new alias: Saha picked "Jai" from a list of Top 10 Indian baby names, and added the "Wolf" as a nod to Game of Thrones. After the name change, his online presence grew and he was soon asked to make remixes for artists including ODESZA, Alesso, Dirty South and Melanie Martinez. He even caught the attention of Skrillex, who heard Saha's reworking of his track "Ease My Mind," and granted him permission to release an official remix. In 2015, Saha released his debut single, "Indian Summer," on ODESZA's label Foreign Family Collective and saw it reach No. 31 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. He then signed with New York independent label Mom + Pop, who released his debut EP, Kindred Spirits, in 2016. He spent the next few years on the road, making appearances at major festivals around the world, and it wasn't until April 2019 that he finally released his much-anticipated debut full-length album, The Cure to Loneliness.

This tour was next level. All of the openers were amazing. Jai Wolf was sooo good. The sound and songs were remixed in really great ways and the visuals were insane.

  • Great intimate experience

by Miraj on 10/3/23Ace of Spades - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

Last time I saw Jai Wolf was at cochella this year and it was amazing but seeing him in a much smaller more intimate venue made the experience even more enjoyable. One of my favorite EDM artists hands down.

  • Small venue, not impressive music

Was expecting a blast night but it's just a dull memory

  • The show to lift me off my feet and vibe the night away

    by Junior on 9/28/23Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 5 out of 5

This event was my third time seeing Jai Wolf. I got the chance to meet the legend with the VIP option, it was totally worth it. He was a kind man, got to ask more than one question, we talked about anime for a bit and then went our separate ways. The venue was easy to get to, right across from Berkeley's campus, plenty of parking but a pain to leave after the show if you didn't park near the exit of the parking garage. The staff was friendly and helpful, they answered all of my and my families questions when looking for something. The show, now the show. All the headliners were amazing. Every single headliner built them hype to get it prepared for the main performance. Jai Wolf, man, this guy. Let me tell you, he put on a fantastic performance, he engaged with the crowd, and took advantage of the venues acoustics. His visuals were off the hook with the combination of his new tracks mixed in with his old stuff was perfection. I was able to fly out to Colorado and see him and San Holo at the red rocks amphitheatre and that was s heavenly show as well. This was just as close but without the addition of San, it was just s tad bit off. But it was great seeing Jai in my home turf, but his presentation was more impressive than his show last year. He did more to engage with the audience and even tested a new exercise before his last song, Indian Summer. That was a fun interaction. Conclusion, if you have the chance to meet or see Jai Wolf live? DO IT! You won't be disappointed! Later fellow Babus!

  • Amazing time :)

This concert that I attended was overall a great experience, The line to get inside the venue was efficient and there was lots of room inside to find a seat or space to dance. If I could change anything though, I wish that there was a better drink selection at the bar and the prices were slightly lower. I had paid nearly $30 for two little cans of beer which was kinda wack. :/
